Enjoy evenings with loved ones in the large and comfortable dining room. Choose from a number of games and books stored on the bookshelf. The spacious living room includes a 55" TV, an office space with full desk, and a utility room with a brand-new washer and dryer that guests are welcome to use. Your stay includes free WIFI and access to streaming services including Netflix, AppleTV+, Disney, and Hulu. The full kitchen has a dishwasher, a stove/oven, a microwave, a large set of Green Pans, an AirFryer, and everything you may need to cook or bake your favorite meals.

The Rose City Hideaway stays very cool in summer even without A/C. So, don't worry about getting too hot here. Come beat the heat at the Hideaway! If too cool, the apartment's heaters are quite efficient and there is even a fake fireplace heater in the dining room for warmth and ambiance.

Each bedroom is designed with your needs in mind-- cozy beds, closets, storage, extra pillows, air filters, white noise machines, outlets galore, and more. The ample bathroom features a towel warming rack, nice shower, and plenty of extras to make you comfortable during your stay. In the mornings, you can choose your own adventure at the full coffee bar. In the evenings, you can unwind and mix up some cocktails or mocktails. Enjoy the Portland summer on your private patio out front. The family-friendly Rose City Hideaway is your home away from home if you are bringing kids or dogs. In the utility room you'll find toys, a crib, a high-chair, and other things for babies and children as well as a dog box with a bed, treats, bags, and more.

You'll park right in front of the apartment and you can easily leave your car and walk to nearby restaurants and parks, including the beautiful Rose Garden at nearby Peninsula Park. The Woodlawn Triangle, with plenty of restaurants and a park, is a 7-8-minute walk. Walk just a bit further for Tamales, Detroit-style pizza, or BBQ. Or drive just 10 minutes to downtown. It is only a five-minute drive or quick bike ride to the trendy Alberta Arts neighborhood or Mississippi Corridor. The Rose City Hideaway is located just 14 minutes from Portland International Airport (PDX) and is accessible to highways that will take you to the scenic Colombia River Gorge, the rugged and enchanting Oregon Coast, or the delicious Willamette Valley wine country.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please note that the Rose City Hideaway is located on the lower floor of a duplex. A family lives upstairs. We have recently taken some soundproofing measures but want to be clear that you may hear some footsteps and light appliance noise. The family is quiet, especially at night. They begin their day between 7:00 and 8:00 am on weekdays. But morning activity is typically brief. We've provided white noise machines in the bedrooms for your convenience. While our guests generally do not experience noticeable issues, if you are particularly sensitive to noise, you may want to consider other accommodations for your trip.

Finally, if you are especially tall (6’8” and above) the space may be uncomfortable for you. If you are over 6’10” we don’t recommend you book the Rose City Hideaway.

This apartment offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
