The room was cute, spacious and a nice view of the ocean. Bed was very comfortable. However, not enough light. The bathroom needs to be updated. Paint chipping off the cabinet, bathtub, outdated and needs re-caulking, and a new shower head. Also the toilet lid was not cleaned. The coffee selection could use an upgrade to something other than folders. Maybe hot chocolate too, along with snacks, granolas bars, crackers, etc? Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but for the money paid, we expected a bit more.

We had a wonderful time. The views were spectacular. Room was a nice size and very clean. The only this I advise is if you have trouble climbing stairs please ask for the first floor rooms. Had to carry our heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs. But the view from the upper floors is great.

Room and view were great. Communication about how to check in was wrong and confusing. There was no previous mention that our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Also, Hotels.com said I would pay half the day of booking and the remaining when I checked in. My credit card was charged the 2nd half of the payment 2 days after booking. The hotel said it was their policy to change the full price 15 days before the check in date so incorrect info from Hotels.com.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our view from our room was of the harbor, with moored lobster boats and waves breaking in the distance. The staff were friendly, warm, and accommodating. If you are looking for a romantic, iconic Kennebunkport hotel, this is it.

We had a lovely stay here, the view was gorgeous and getting to sit outside with a cup of coffee looking out onto the water was special. It’s very kid friendly - our son was able to run around watching boats, throwing rocks, looking for shells on the waterfront. It’s simple, beautiful, clean with great everything you could want.

Great stay

Happy with our room and staff. Had drinks by the water and dinner in the restaurant. Very friendly and great food. Overall enjoyable. Description a little deceiving with the views. Pick a balcony, otherwise you are just getting a picture window. I picked up on it, but others in our group did not like their view.
