We’ve just spent six nights in the beautiful Catalonia Porto Hotel. Everything about this hotel is perfect. Check in was quick and reception staff always most professional and helpful. We felt secure as you need a room key to operate the lifts, there are adequate lifts and never a queue. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable and although it overlooked road, it was very peaceful and we had a good sleep in the comfortable beds. Our room was kept lovely and clean with nice fluffy towels, robes, slippers and excellent lighting. Breakfast was amazing, well done to all the breakfast staff, lots of choice, very fresh, we love the orange juice machine! All fresh food was regularly replenished and breakfast really set us up for the day. As we booked a superior room we were entitled to a daily spa visit, which was most welcome after walking around Porto all day. The massage jets in the indoor pool, cold ice if you want it and a sauna were refreshing. We used the outdoor pool every day, as did a few other guests but it is only for the brave in late September! The hotel is well located, within easy walking distance of the hop on hop off buses, the funicular railway and many restaurants and cafes. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was delicious! We highly recommend the Catalonia Porto Hotel, a pleasant oasis in the middle of a very busy city, we couldn’t have made a better choice!

This was a perfectly located hotel to explore Porto. The staff was very nice, hotel was clean and smelled wonderful. Room was fairly spacious. I would totally stay here again if visiting Porto. Just note while parking is close by and affordable the garage is tight and a bit tricky to park, but manageable.

I like the room is spacious, clean and comfy with a sitting area. The hotel is nice in general. There’s cool cucumber lemon water in the lobby and good breakfast, except the fruit is limited and not as good.

A newer hotel in an ideal location, close to markets, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. Ygor from the front desk treated us exceptionally well, even checked us in early free of charge and provided free drink vouchers while we waited for our room. He was also very helpful with directions to the subway and nearby attractions. Room was well equipped and very comfortable. No complaints here, definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect to walk where we wanted to go. Breakfast was wonderful, and we enjoyed the pool area and staff we’re friendly. Comfy bed, amazing shower! Room was on the small side but no big deal for us as we were mostly in it to sleep and shower
