This is a very old building that has been completely rebuilt inside and provides practical, modern spaces throughout. We had a large, modern bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, bidet and ample room. The bedroom was also very adequate in size. We did not intend to eat breakfast here, but we checked out the buffet (€12/person) and ate there both days of our stay. Good selection and preparation. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Great location just half a block off the popular riverfront.

It was a great stay for me! Everything clean, at all times. Great costumer service from the staff but specially Jose! The location is great- just off the main straight of the river and perfect for exploring Porto. This hotel looks to be a converted old building. While charming, it has some flaws. The rooms on the fourth floor are very hot even with the air conditioner going full blast. The only solution is to open the skylight windows. If you do, you will be treated to a 24 hour serenade of dozens of seagulls screaming their heads off. Make sure to bring ear plugs!

Execlent locaiton for visiting the main attractions in Porto. Small hotel which is an oasis from the busy Ribeira area. Rooms were clean and spacious for a city break. Staff very friendly and provided great suggestions for food and drink without prompting
