Place full of (not great) surprises
Although it is not clear from this listing, you will discover after booking that this property is being managed by a company that manages multiple vacation rentals. To get the keys to the place, you will have to go to their office (rather than meeting at the apartment like most VRBOs I have rented). At their office, you will have to provide 50% of the rental cost plus additional fees in cash. They will not let you charge that amount to your card. So be ready for that. We also had some bad luck that the unit below us on the third floor had all night (finished at 6:00 AM) parties for two of the three nights we stayed there, with loud music, loud voices, and shaking the whole place. Since the walls are thin, it was impossible to sleep either night. Maybe it was bad luck on our part, but buyer beware. There is a lot of street noise even when the neighbors are quiet, so be prepared for that as well. It gets two stars for the size of the unit and the prime location. But I would not rent this place again.
