Gran Cruz is a lovely hotel well located near the river. It is quite small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was excellent with good options. Location in the city is great for seeing all of the touristy spots.

Gran Cruz is a fantastic boutique hotel with amazing views of the Douro river in Porto. The location cannot be matched. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would return to stay every visit to Porto.

Spectacular Boutique hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed balcony room overlooking Doro River. Room and bathroom were perfect. Andre and staff were exceptional. Breakfast was “to order” from a menu and they even provided a breakfast box to enjoy on way to airport when we had to check out early.

Nice location!! Very lively!! The staff is very nice and helpful especially Mr Bruno at the check-in desk! A little noise at night due to party goers late. Excellent breakfast and top rate dinner in the restaurant (must try lollipop). Will stay there again if coming back to Porto!!

This property was really clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful. They book both a transfer from the train to the hotel and a wine tour for us. Both went smooth and were good. Had water in the room and complimentary wine. The AC was a little weak but could still feel it.

We loved Gran Cruz House, our room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the river, in old town, very near Luis I Bridge and the river promenade that can get very busy (which we loved!). We very much enjoyed the greeting port wine by Bruno and everything he did for us to make our trip very special. The lady (sorry, forgot her name) who helped us with breakfast was super nice and very helpful. We felt fortunate to stay at Gran Cruz House and treasure our time in Porto, Portugal.
