This Garden apartment is situated within the confines of the 19th century landmark player piano building complex on Rua Almada. A lush, eclectic garden and pathway separates the old building from its 21st century sister that is nestled behind, surrounded by various interesting plantings; truly a relaxing place to stay in Porto. Exiting the elegant front door and going a few steps down the hill leads to a plethora of restaurants and terraces surrounded by various beautifully tiled buildings enhanced with fine iron work, small stores, and cobblestone streets that make Porto a destination for visitors from all over the world. Walking a bit further, you reach the magnificent Douro River as it flows to the nearby Atlantic Ocean. There is so much to see in this walking city that after a long day, you will really enjoy returning to the quiet of your garden apartment and relaxing on the deck with a glass of Portuguese wine, your feet propped up, just listening to the birds and savoring the wonders that you have experienced.
