This is an excellent location...just around the corner is Porto's main shopping district -- Santa Catarina street. It's loaded with beautiful shops and historic buildings. A must see in Porto. Regarding the apartment, I especially appreciated the fact it had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. That's hard to find in Porto. It also had a spacious kitchen so we could have breakfast in the apartment, rather than going out. Since we were in Portugal for a long time, we needed to wash clothes and this apartment has a combo washer/dryer just off the kitchen which was helpful. I must say it was not easy for me to figure out how to use it because I don't speak Portuguese..but eventually I figured it out and got the job done. Be warned...a combo washer/dryer takes much more time than you expect. Just plan for it. Unfortunately there was an extremely heavy rain while we were there and the ceiling in the living room leaked. We mopped it up and called the property manager who sent people right away to take care of the issue. They offered us the apartment above but we declined because we just had one night left. There were no more leaks during our stay. The management was very responsive during this time. Overall, this is an affordable stay in Porto and I'll consider staying again.

Great to stay at wonderful hotel with very helpful staff

Stayed five days in one of the big family rooms. Gave us great space. Good location – three blocks from the ocean and many attractions. It is very very hilly in Lisbon and this is located on the side of a hill. Also, it’s in an historic district and only special taxis are allowed to drive there. To get a new Uber or any other mood of transportation, you simply have to walk two blocks down the hill.

Escapade à Porto

Excellent séjour. Appartement très bien situé donc transport inutile pour visiter. Avions contacté un guide français pour flâner dans le centre historique, très jolie ville. Avons toujours eu de très bons contacts (restaurants visites locales). Appartement très spacieux. Excellent contact avec l’agence très agréable et sérieuse.
