This property is absolutely beautiful! It was a palace back in the day, and you can see elements of that throughout the hotel, especially the dining room, which is stunning! You feel quite royal dining there. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff who were extremely accommodating. I forgot the young man's name at reception, but he was extremely pleasant and was able to modify one of my reservations. Paolo greeted us with a smile and a very warm welcoming demeanor. He showed us around the property and helped us with our luggage at both check-in and check-out. He was a pleasure to converse with and always very polite and attentive. I have to give big props to Sofia who so eagerly helped me with so many questions and restaurant reservations! She rocks! The room was very spacious and it boasted a nice sitting area. It had all the amenities one could ask for. The buffet breakfast in the exquisite dining room was delicious and plentiful. It also included champagne. Would return to the property in a heartbeat. Very reasonably priced, great staff, beautiful property, and a short 10 minute walk from the center of Porto and Livraria Lello. Loved it!

The hotel is located in a walkable area near shots and restaurants. However during my 3-day stay, there was no hot water and water pressure was very minimal. I would not stay at this hotel again.

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful palace and it was wonderful. The rooms were cozy and homey. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Loved the pancakes and waffles with real maple syrup. The hotels location is away from the hustle and bustle but still walkable from every Porto must go's. We arrived from a red eye flight and they let us chill on the patio and have our room an hour earlier then check in. We felt safe coming to the hotel at 2am, just buzz the door and a friendly security guard will let you in. The hotel is beautiful, ain't nothing wrong with it. This should be rated higher in Porto's top hotels. Loved the chocolates delivered every night. Didn't get the chance to use the pool because it's October but the grounds are beautiful. The gym has everything you need to keep up that muscle. All in all is was a wonderful stay and will return next time in Porto. Check it out for yourself and you will not be disappointed.

Everything was great except the shower in the bathroom. The bathroom itself has beautiful interior and colour scheme but I was a bit disappointed on the black mold build ups on the lower corners of the shower area. They are very visible and look disgusting and could probably easily be brushed off during cleaning but have been missed. There is a certain unpleasant odour that builds up when the door of the bathroom is closed and I'm not sure if it's coming from those mold or somewhere else - some kind of sewery. It didn't warrant requesting for a new room as I loved the room assigned to me (Room 1604). Apart from that, everything else is clean, fragrant and beautiful. I hope that bathroom shower issue is just in the room assigned to me and not present in all the other rooms. It's also worth mentioning the staff at the Reception were all wonderful during my stay. Thanks.

Great location!

Beautiful property, very clean, and quiet. Room was neat and comfortable. Breakfast was not the best as vegetarian options were not ample. Bathroom smelled like sewer, but aesthetically it was nice. Location was the best!!!
