Comfy bed and Apartment. We spent 10 days here. Maria s very responsive to any question we had. She met us as planned and even had some food available for breakfast. The location is a bit far out from the historic center. It was quiet with a neighborhood feel, which is what we wanted. We still walked to many things, including Villa Nova do Gaia.The grocery store is very close and a Laundromat right across the street. The seating is comfortable and we had several places to relax when we were in the apartment. Maria is kind and thoughtful. The apartment was as described and better.

Lovely Lapa Stay

We had a great time in this lovely, well-laid out apartment. Everything was so clean, the outdoor spaces were good places to relax, and it was so easy to get around town. The flat is convenient to three metro stops (Marques, Lapa, Faria Guimaraes). The neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk in. Maria is a great host who made everything so easy!

Lovely Apartment

A lovely apartment and excellent hosts. It is a bit of a walk down to the city center, but getting an Uber was never a problem and there is a great grocery near by. The patio was especially nice to spend time in.

Excellent host

Probably the best host we have ever had. Maria is thoughtful, professional, and just an all around nice person. Attentive to detail, responded to one tiny issue we had immediately. The property is just LOVELY. Easy walk to everything, quiet, and the back patio is so nice. We have traveled Europe, Canada, and the US and this Host is hands down our fav.

We had a wonderful time. Maria was a very attentive host and help us a lot from the very first day, including a substantial welcome package. The location is very good as it is close for walking or for Uber ( very cheap...5€ to almost everywhere). The apartment is cosy, clean and had everything we need.

Outstanding Porto Stay

Excellent experience overall. The apartment is really lovely, very clean and with everything we needed, and Maria’s welcome was very warm and generous. The communication was excellent, quick and helpful. We loved the location, a short walk to two metro stops and a slightly longer walk to the city centre. Very nice to be able to enjoy the terrace after a long day walking the city. Would definitely return.

Lovely unit.

This unit is as advertised and a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed our breakfast and two dinners using the kitchen facilities, a nice change from eating out every night. Uber and taxis arrived quickly and we could walk home from most places although sometimes it was uphill. Porto is a fabulous city to visit and we enjoyed the Gaia especially.

We stayed 9 nights in Maria's beautiful apartment recently and really enjoyed our time there it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely and it was so nice to come back after a day out and have the balcony to sit out on and enjoy the sunshine.It was a very quiet area with cafes bakeries and a grocery store close by. About a 15/20 minute walk takes you to the centre of Porto it is up hill coming back but nothing to strenuous and it nice to get away from the crowds. Maria was the perfect hostess she was very helpful and there if you needed her but not obtrusive. I would definitely recommend her apartment to anyone and would certainly stay there again myself..

Lovely Maria

Maria couldn't be sweeter or more helpful, and the apartment is spotless and lovely. The lock was a bit tricky for us, but she responded quickly and personally to help us out. The magnifying mirrors in both bathrooms were a really nice touch, and the hairdryers were great, and they arent always in such places. The showeres were great too. And Maria was the nicest and most helpful hostess weve ever had. Thanks Maria!!!

Maria was great and very helpful she let us check in earlier while she was cleaning the apartment She called the taxi for us when ever we asked her I will definitely recommend this apartment to my family and friends whenever they come to Puerto The apartment was very clean and renovated. The only thing there was no washer in the apartment, but there was a laundry across from the apartment.

Excellent Apartment in Porto

Place was spotless and well decorated. Our host Maria was very helpful and provided us a quick tour of the apartment along with recommendations on restaurants. Several that we tried and really enjoyed. Easy 15-20 minute walk to tourist area....or only approximately 3.50 euros for an Uber if you don't feel like walking. Enough restaurants nearby as well if you don't want to venture to far. Air conditioning worked great and made for a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed (a tv mounted on the bedroom wall was a nice feature). I would not hesitate to recommend if you are staying in Porto!

Fantastic base for exploring Porto

We loved our stay here. This was perfect for us and in a nice neighborhood, with cafes and groceries close by. We enjoyed a long walk downhill exploring the city, a fantastic meal, and then an Uber back up to the apartment. It was also easy to get on the metro nearby and go out to the beach. Maria was a superb hostess.

Fabulous Porto Hospitality

Our host Maria was friendly, accommodating and well informed. She helped us find a nearby car park, grocery store and Metro stop. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable - even for 3 seniors. Would recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Porto.

This home is absolutely beautiful and an amazing location!

This home is absolutely beautiful and so clean. We were very comfortable and cotent to relax outside in the precious courtyard. The host was warm and welcoming and the accomodations were perfect for our group. They would be perfect for anyone really. It is close to everything and the restaurants nearby were fantastic. The hosts were very accommodating and the apartment was nicer than the pictures indicated. Location worked out great as we were able to find parking and didn’t mind the walk to the central/tourist areas. We also received a nice welcome gift including wine, water and chocolate.

Perfect apartment and host, highly recommend

I've stayed at many rental apartments and I can say this apartment and host were by far the best. Maria went out of our way to make our trip as easy as possible. When traveling with a baby, this is so welcome! The apartment is perfect if you are traveling with a young family. The apartment is clean, modern and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The beds are super comfortable too. Location is good and nice and quiet. One useful tip we found, if the hills are tiring you out, use the Marques metro stop to get in and out of the centre, the walk is flat!

Dieses wunderschöne Appartement ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unsere Gastgeberin Maria war sehr engagiert und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist auch gut, da man die tolle Innenstadt von Porto fußläufig in 20 Minuten erreicht.
