Beware: Lack of Service and Poor Management at This Apartment
I feel scammed by these people. Everything was odd and communication was nonexistent. We weren’t told about the stairs to the elevator, and the elevator was extremely slow. The toilet seat was loose, windows didn’t close properly, and the stairs to the bedroom seemed dangerous. The room was warm even with the air conditioning on. Avoid this apartment if you have mobility issues.
I asked if we could check in earlier, and they said it was possible, but no one would be there to welcome us. We replied that we would wait because we wanted the host to come and inspect the apartment with us and to be available for any questions. We also had heavy luggage with us. Although I initially hesitated to complain, I am now concerned because they are blaming us for additional costs for new towels, which could have been washed. Other apartments receive weekly clean towels and regular cleaning. We had no clear instructions and were left wondering if we were expected to wash the towels ourselves.
The apartment was dusty, leading to asthma attacks, and had black mold in the corners. I will never stay here again. Choose Carris Appt for a trouble-free experience. I will take steps to address this issue and ensure my complaints are taken seriously.
