Welcoming hospitality with historic charm

This was perfect place for us to stay while visiting Porto. The views from balcony were amazing. Imagining life centuries ago on this bustling waterfront was fun.

Perfect property and location

I had the best time in Porto . The owner met us from the metro after providing detailed instructions which were extremely useful in exciting airport quickly. The accommodation was perfect in terms of location. It had all the amenities required and wonderful view of the river from the bedroom and balcony.

Beautiful location but be aware of a couple of issues

Firstly, Luis was exceptional. Communicated quickly, met us at the train station, guided us to his location. helped us with our luggage and showed us around. All wonderful. Area is perfect. Right on the water, million dollar view. Now, just to be aware, the apartment is split by a common stairwell so if you need the washroom, you have to go from the bedroom, through the short hall in the open stairwell to the side with the kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom is quite tiny. Also, the Stairwell is very tight for luggage and the two apartments are on the third and fourth floors of the building. Quite the hike with luggage. We stayed on the third floor and the bed and pillows really need to be upgraded. We had sore backs every morning. We are just pointing out a few things to readers. but also to Luis. He was wonderful with us and the location and view were just fabulous. A very vibrant area that is not to be missed. Thank you, Luis!

Perfect location

You walk out the door, and you’re in the middle of the pure beauty & joy of Porto. The view from the balcony is amazing. Bed was very comfy. When we return to Porto, we’d want to stay here. Luis is a grand host, and the communication was excellent

Beautiful views of the Don Luis bridge and the river. Centralized location, easy walk to most everything. Very clean apartment; gracious host. Did not get a 5 because of noise level at night and inconvenient layout of the apartment...WC across the hall for those of us who need it at night. Also mattress and pillow quality could be improved.

Erste Reihe am Duoro. Klasse.

Die Lage direkt am Duoro ist wunderschön. Wir konnten abends auf dem kleinen Balkon sitzen und die nächtliche Atmosphäre genießen. Bei der Anreise wurden wir an der Metrostation Trinidade abgeholt und zur Wohnung begleitet. Besonders hilfreich waren auch die Informationen, die wir schon vor der Reise erhalten haben. Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die gute Betreuung sehr genoßen und können diese Wohnung für alle, die eine traditionelle Wohnung in einem historischen Gebäude kennenlernen möchten, weiterempfehlen.

Une vue exceptionnelle sur le Douro!

Nous avons passé un week-end de septembre à Porto et choisi le logement de Luis pour sa situation exceptionnelle. Nous n'avons pas regretté car nous étions au coeur de la ville, à proximité de tous les centres d'intérêt. Bien entendu, la soirée du samedi était assez bruyante mais c'était prévisible, vu la situation. Nous avons adoré la vue sur les quais du Douro. Les conseils du propriétaire nous étaient très utiles pour optimiser notre court séjour. L'appartement est en bon état, cependant le coin toilette mériterait un petit rafraîchissement.

très belle étape à Porto

Très bon accueil de Luis qui a facilité notre arrivée en nous attendant à la sortie du métro. La location a une vue exceptionnelle sur le douro .L'appartement est très atypique avec un palier entre 2 pièces .
