Overall Great - with a couple small exceptions

Overall we had a great stay here - it's spacious, clean and comfortable. Many eateries and sights nearby - very popular area. Easy walking access to lots of attractions. There's a Nata place a couple doors to the left that was our favorite and you get a small discount at Esquire Coffee (great breakfast spot) a few doors to the right. I'd recommend both spots! You are right in the heart of it at this property - which may be excellent for some, may not be as excellent for others. It's very touristy on this street, so the noise level is moderate to high just about all hours of the day. If you are a light sleeper like me or are looking for a place that offers some quiet, this place will be challenging for you. Just a heads up. The only other thing is that there is an additional City Tax asked for by the owner that is not listed in the VRBO details - it's also not included in the VRBO price at all. It's a completely separate tax that is asked for in Euro at the end of the stay. It's not a huge amount (2 euro per person per night) but it did feel like a hidden fee and we didn't receive any heads up about it until a couple days before we arrived. Outside of those two things, we really enjoyed our stay in Portugal and hope to come back again some day!

Location is great, 5 minutes from San Bento train station. Well equipped with some basics, salt, pepper, coffee, laundry detergent, foil and cling wrap. Very comfortable bed. Lucky to have found it.

Comfortable and Great location

Comfortable apartment with all the comforts from home. You can walk anywhere from the location, it is close to shops , restaurants and train station. Sofia was quick in answering and helpful with restaurants recommendations. Great stay we wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful apartment! Close to everything. Super clean and safe.

Loved this apartment. Thank you Sofía for taking so much time to make the place cute and perfect. The bottle of wine was a nice touch and having the dinner table set for us was great. I highly recommend this apartment to everyone.

Me encantó el apartamento, estaba muy completo, en una calle muy céntrica para hacer todo Oporto a pie. Cerca de tiendas, restaurantes… la estancia fue perfecta. Para dormir sin problemas de ruido, excepto una noche que saltó una alarma de un coche o de una tienda por error varías veces, pero solo fue una noche y porque estaba averiada que nada tiene que ver con el apartamento. Como negativo por decir algo, es que los techos son muy altos, lo que hace muy amplio el apartamento pero quizás faltaría un poco más de luz en el baño para maquillarse. En general nos ha encantado el apartamento a los cuatro; mis hijos estuvieron muy agusto. La anfitriona nos facilitó información muy relevante de alrededores. Muchas gracias!!! Repetiremos.
