I’d recommend this location to anyone!! I received a clean and open apartment studio, attached with a private bathroom and kitchenette. It was very central to the city, roughly a 15 minute from the river. The AC was wonderful for the hot days in Porto, and was very local. I’d happily stay again at this ovation again and would recommend it to anyone who stays in Porto. Very affordable, very clean, overall excellent!

The room was just like the pictures. It was pretty roomy and had a lot of conveniences in the kitchen including dishes, pots & pans, and s dishwasher. We went to the grocery store next door and bought some coffee for the Nespresso coffee maker, and breakfast foods for our convenience. There's a market a few blocks down, which I have shown a picture of, that is very busy but has great food and drinks. The location was perfect, we walked all over Porto. There were several restaurants across the street which were great for dinner or just drinks. There are restaurants all over Porto. We crossed the river to do several wine tastings and take in the sites from there. Lovely. We would definitely recommend this location to stay. The staff, Joanna, were very nice at checkin. She gave us a map and answered all our questions about where to eat, what wineries to visit, and how to get around town.

A great apartment in an area close to almost everything. There is a very good grocery store right outside the apartment and the tram station was a little over a five minute walk with bus stops even closer. Communication was very good.

Fantastic location, close to shopping restaurants and groceries. Walkable to many of the famous attractions. Bright and airy, and very quiet. The host met us to gain entry and answered our questions regarding the apartment. She was always available to answer any questions and provided us with recommendations for the city. The Wi-Fi reception was considered just okay. We would definitely stay there again

Terrific property with clean and modern bathroom

The room was very comfortable and very clean, with kitchenette/living room, very nice big bed and a large, modern and clean bathrrom and shower. We were not expecting absolue luxury for the price we paid but we were surprised by the property and how well it was presented. The staff were in constant contact with us and arranged self check-in which was very convenient considering delays we experienced with flights.

Stylish, comfortable apartment.

A very large stylish 2 floor apartment with amazing living/dining/kitchen space and all amenities you need (stayed at panoramic which is at the top and up a few flights of stairs). 10 minutes walk to old town with a view over street but very quiet. Balcony could do with a bit of attention but overall we thought it was great.

The accommodation is very well situated for Historic Porto, and not far from the Metro to and from the Airport. Close by there are two supermarkets with long opening hours, including Sunday. The bed are very comfortable and clean. The general cleanliness of the apartment was good. The kitchen was adequately kitted out. Generally quiet, but a few times other guests were noisy on the staircase, and slammed doors well after midnight We were warned about stairs to upper floors, no lift, this was not a problem. We were met by Denise who was friendly and helpful, using Whatsapp to keep in touch. Other reviews have commented on the smell, which appears to come from the shower. Maybe the plumber forgot the U-bend! Attempts were in place to cover the smell, but these were too strong for us. Closing the shower door, and toilet door helped a lot. I tried not to think about what would happen in the event of a fire. Wooden stairs and no other exit!

Great Location overall

Really enjoyed our stay at the apartment; super convenient to a grocery store. We were able to prepare coffee with the nespresso machine and eggs and toast to our liking. Very much appreciated. We found the bifanas at the shop next door to be very good, for that alone we would return to the property. Other restaurants near by are good, also. Communication was very good with the host. We select a third floor apt at the rear of the building for quiet(it was); but that meant lots of stairs at the end of the day. There were two 'hotel sized' rolls of TP provided for our four night stay, could not locate extra. The shower head was either dirty or rusted, could use repair or replacement.

This is a gorgeous apartment - very spacious, with a large bedroom and ensuite bathroom downstairs and a hihe kitchen, living room, dining room, and small powder room upstairs. There's a small terrace off the bedroom and a very large one off the living room. There's an in-suite washing machine and a large drying rack that you can use in the terrace to dry two full loads of laundry very fast on a hot day. The property is very clean and beautifully decorated, although there are some minor condition issues, including some old water damage to the floors and an odd chemical smell. Toiletries and amenities could be better stocked, but that's a minor quibble and was possibly just a one-time thing. The location is incredible - right off Rua Santa Catarina, a major pedestrian shopping street, next door to a large grocery store (Pingo Doce), and close to metro stations, restaurants, and must-see sites. It's also just a 20-minute walk from the river. Nevertheless, it's very quiet and easy to sleep there. And the price is very affordable. Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially if you'll have a longer stay in Porto and want a home base you can settle into comfortably.
