Several of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One young lady at reception even remembered my first name the day after checking in. The gentlemen working at reception and at the restaurant were also very pleasant and helpful. The initial person who checked us in wasn’t very pleasant and one lady working in the restaurant seating people was not cooperative or pleasant. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff at breakfast were very attentive.

Brand new designer hotel, with a very ‘woody’ theme. It’s all very stylish, and quite different. Staff were excellent, friendly reception, great barman, and helpful breakfast staff. The rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds, and super bathrooms. The included breakfast was very good, with a huge selection of hot and cold options, plus an amazing selection of pastries. The only change I would make is to change the light levels at night to make the bar area more inviting. Location wise it’s close to a tram stop, but Ubers are only €5 to the city centre ( €12 from the airport). It’s a quiet business/residential neighbourhood, close to the FC Porto stadium, but there is an area 5 minutes walk away with several cafes and restaurants, which were all very nice around the Jardim Doutor Francisco Sá Carneiro.

I gave it a total of 3 stars. The property is new, looks beautiful and modern. As for it being new, I understood how our room was without a fridge. The 3 stars come from how we would ask the front desk staff for an additional towel for our child who was with us or a sheet and pillow for the pull out bed for our child to which the front desk staff would say “oh it’s late, housekeeping went home.” Or “we will try informing housekeeping.” But no actions were actually taken. I had to take initiative to look for a housekeeping personnel to provide me with the said essentials. The booking by the way is for 2 adults and one child of 6. The restaurant staff are the best though. They were pleasant, hospitable and made our stay great! My husband would never fail to say after breakfast that he the restaurant staff needs to be commended for how they do their work!

The Log is a lovely newer property outside the city center in Porto. Friendly professional staff, clean and attractive facility. Not walkable to city center, but easy access to affordable Uber services.

Highly Recommend!

From check in to check out everything was perfect. Staff were great, room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing and the best we had during our trip through Europe. The only problem we had was the fact that we wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked! 😔

Great stay!

This hotel looks like it is recently renovated and it is quite unique and beautiful. Good location. Front desk clerks were super helpful and friendly. The only challenge was operating the lighting in the room. I found it very confusing, but maybe thats just me.

Its a nice hotel but not managed very well. Check in time was 15:00 but room was still not ready. Following day my room was not made until 16:00 After calling reception. The restaurant is not open all day. . Its 4km from.the city no restaurant near by. Overall its a modern hotel with comfortable beds. No very professional at reception. I had to ask for the welcome drink and had to call for wifi code..

Good, new, customer service could improve

The hotel looks nice and is fairly new, with a good breakfast. But overall, I cannot recommend it. We came back to our room at 6:30 pm after a long day, and it hadn’t been cleaned. No apology from the front desk—just an excuse that they were short-staffed. I asked for at least the bathroom to be refreshed (towels, trash, etc.), but the cleaning staff insisted I leave the room, and then reception called asking me again to step out. At nearly 7:00 pm, I was waiting outside my room instead of resting. The whole point of staying in a hotel is to return to a clean room and fresh towels. Having a full hotel but not enough staff makes no sense, and what’s worse is that no effort was made to make up for the inconvenience. Disappointing and not what you would expect from a hotel stay.
