Super friendly and helpful staff. A one block walk to the pools, dining etc made it very convenient. The included breakfast at the rooftop restaurant nearby was exactly the way to start your day!

The room was very nice and clean and the kitchenette was a great feature. Beautiful location with everything in walking distance. The included breakfast was really good and fresh. The rooftop was quiet and a nice spot to relax.

Sounded good in theory, but I won't be coming back

Clean place, run by nice people, but overall more like 3,5 than 4 stars. The jacuzzi on the roof is lovely, but the pool facilities in the other hotel that guests have access are small and not very clean. The cooking facilities were very helpful, especially as restaurants in Porto Moniz are of poor quality, but beware of ants in the apartment - all food needs to be locked away carefully. The breakfast in the hotel next door is good and pretty varied (including custom cooked pancakes or omelettes), overlooking the ocean - my favourite part of the stay. This is not the hotel's fault, but a note to future visitors: do not come to Porto Moniz without a car, as public transport is non-existent and there are limited things to do from here (you also can't get Bolt, just regular, more expensive taxis). As the weather wasn't good enough for swimming and it turned out most of the local hiking paths were closed due to a recent wild fire, we decided to cut short our trip and return to Funchal half way through. The regular person at reception was great, but when we were leaving someone else was covering & must not have processed our check out properly, as three days later I was being called up by the hotel, asking me where I was and demanding payment for mini bar items, which we had settled when we left...

Great stay in Porto Moniz

Very nice stay in Porto Moniz! The studios were clean and confortable. The staff was really nice and very helpful. We used the pool and the restaurant from the other two aqua natura properties which were conveniently within walking distance.

De accomodatie voldeed aan alle wensen; vriendelijk personeel, een heel nette kamer, goede locatie, heerlijk ontbijt,… Faciliteiten wat minder, maar de hikes errond zorgen ervoor dat dit minder belangrijk is. Het is een aanrader om daar te verblijven.

Adoramos nossa estadia ! A localização é fantástica. Fomos muito bem recebidos, o quarto era ótimo, tamanho bom, cama confortável e lençóis de boa qualidade assim como as toalhas de banho. O banheiro era grande, moderno e o chuveiro excelente. O ponto alto sem duvida foi o maravilhoso café da manhã servido em frente as piscinas naturais com muita variedade e uma atenção dos funcionários maravilhosa. Apesar do valor ser um pouco mais alto vale muito a pena. Com certeza indico e se um dia voltar me hospedarei novamente aí. Muito obrigada

La chambre est très bien et le personnel de l'hotel aimable. Le jacuzzi sur le toit est top par contre le SPA de l'hôtel principale est un peu vieillot avec des mauvaises odeurs d'humidité. La ville de Porto Moniz n'est pas incroyable, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire le soir et les restaurants sont pour la plupart mauvais.

Wir waren für 10 Tage mit unserem 2 Jahre alten Sohn in Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die kleine Küchenzeile gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, auf unserem Sohn sind die Mitarbeitenden immer eingegangen. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Hotelli on erittäin siisti, rauhallinen ja sijaitsi keskeisellä paikalla. Hotellista ei ollut suoraa näköyhteyttä merelle, mutta se ei haitannut. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja maukas. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Pysäköinti oli helppoa. Erityiskiitos erinomaisesta sängystä.
