Step into 1920s-inspired style in this Art Deco studio in Southsea. Rich emerald and gold tones and a decorative fireplace give the space real character. The studio includes a private en-suite shower, compact kitchenette, and a small dining nook by the Juliet balcony. Fast WiFi, smart TV, and Netflix are included. The seafront is around a 10–15 minute walk away. Well suited to couples, solo travellers, or business stays.
Please be advised this is a self check in property with no front desk on-site. However we are local and available to assist and make sure you have a great stay!
The Ferryman Studios sit in the heart of Southsea, surrounded by independent cafés, bars, and restaurants. Stroll to the Kings Theatre or catch live music at the Wedgewood Rooms. The seafront is just a 10-minute walk, while Gunwharf Quays and the Historic Dockyard are a little over a mile away. Whether you’re here for shopping, dining, or seaside walks, everything is close at hand.
Guests have access to their own studio apartment with kitchenette and en-suite bathroom.
Step into a cosy Art Deco retreat with rich emerald-and-gold design touches and modern comfort. Studio 1 sits at the front of the building overlooking a lively street with bars and restaurants — perfect if you like being close to the action (light sleepers may prefer a rear studio).
Throw open the Juliet balcony doors and enjoy a coffee while watching Southsea come to life below. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable bed, compact kitchenette with dining nook, and a modern en-suite bathroom with shower.
Portsmouth and Southsea is flat and easy to explore on foot or by bike. You’ll find rental bikes and e-scooters nearby, plus regular buses and taxis if you’re not driving. Fratton train station is within walking distance for connections further afield.
If you’re arriving by car, please note that Portsmouth can get congested at peak times. Street parking is available close by, though it can be busy. A daily permit is required between 16:30–18:30 (£3.60 per day, available directly from us).
• This studio is one of ten in the building and offers self check-in. There is no front desk, but support is available if needed.
• Please note there is no lift. The studio is on the first floor and accessed by stairs.
• Parking permits are required for on-street parking and can be purchased from us before arrival.
• Please be mindful of quiet hours between 11pm and 8am, as this is a residential building.
• All properties are non-smoking, including any Juliet balcony/terrace.
• There are no on-site laundry facilities, however a launderette is a short walk away.
• A starter supply of essentials is provided. Additional supplies can be purchased locally during your stay.
• For stays of 28 days or more, an increased cleaning fee applies
