LOOK AT THE GOOGLE REVIEWS FIRST!!!

When we arrived and anchorage inns the place looked deserted. There were no lights on in the lobby (they turned them on after we mention something upon checking in), and the parking lot looked abandoned and in desperate need of repair. The man at the desk was nice at first and informed us the place was fully booked contrary to the parking lot. We checked in and headed to our room. However the halls we dirty, the carpeting was torn and stained, and it smelled like someone dumped an entire bottle (or several) of the worst smelling air freshener/cleaner I’ve ever smelled in my entire existence on this planet! The entire hotel was “under construction” and from the google reviews I’ve read has been since AT LEAST March of 2024. The room looked NOTHING like the pictures displayed online. The mattresses were old and had flakes of who knows what on them. We promptly headed back to the front desk and were told we could have another room but that was all they could do. We asked for any contact info for management and were given an email. We left and went to another hotel near by. I hope this review stays on the website as it seems only positive reviews are left here.

Good central location just off the Portsmouth traffic roundabout, adequately comfortable bed and not too noisy being close to a major traffic artery. Free coffee was terrible instant coffee from a machine. There are no free snacks or breakfast and the juice machines are all out of order. The ceiling over our bed was water stained. The whole property is shabby and unkempt. Remember the property being pretty decent ten years ago when friends stayed there but now it has really declined.

Hotel is nice and convenient to area attractions. Room is clean and recently renovated. However, property has been undergoing renovations for at least 3 years and there are dumpsters and containers with equipment in most of parking area. Not very inviting. Detracts from facility.

Excellent front desk. Very convenient. The room was fine except for terrible beds. The beds were ancient and noisy and couldn't get a good nights sleep.They eliminated the continental breakfast , no juice or pastries etc. Very disappointing.

Property was convenient to downtown Portsmouth with just a few minutes drive. We could see the hotel is refreshing the rooms. Staff was friendly and informative. Would recommend for a quick stay and a place to rest. Not many amenities to hang out at the hotel for.

Convenient to downtown. Convenient to a breakfast restaurant. Inexpensive. Clean room. Bed and pillows were awful. Construction in building and outside made motel dirty. No place to sit outside.

We enjoyed the AC in July, and HBO. While this hotel is being renovated, they took care to keep common areas clean. I would stay here again.

While the room was in fine shape, it was muggy and sticky because of the wall unit rather than central air. The curtains were torn and the door wasnt sealed well so i had light coming in from the hallway. They were very accommodating of my late arrival, but the lobby typically closes at 11 so you need to enter through another key entry door. All in all good stay for the price, but this is clearly an old building that is going through some updates.
