If you’re looking to explore vibrant Southsea, this studio is in a fantastic location with so much on your doorstep! If you’re a sucker for a coffee and a place to watch the world go by, there is an amazing coffee and cake shop - The Garage Lounge - just opposite, which we highly recommend. There are bars, restaurants, shops and even hairdressers all within a stone’s throw! You are also extremely close to the Kings Theatre and a short distance to the seafront or Gunwharf Quays.

Private access to your own studio

This beautiful 1920s-inspired studio resides within a converted guesthouse in central Southsea. Within close proximity to Southsea seafront and with local shops within walking distance, this art deco studio is perfectly located. Finished with authentic art deco furnishings, this is a unique property not to be missed.

The studio gives guests ample space to relax and unwind, with a comfy double bed, 2 easy chairs and TV. The studio comes complete with a wardrobe, dressing table and dining table for eating or working. Perfect for 2 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child. The easy chairs click clack together to convert into a single bed.

When it’s time to dine, the kitchenette includes basic essentials for cooking up a storm, including a single electric hob, microwave, utensils, crockery and glassware - so all you need is to get some goodies in!

The adjoining en-suite modern bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. If you’ve got little ones staying with you, we can also provide a travel cot and/or highchair, but please advise in advance if these are required, so we can be sure they are available for your stay.

Most locations are walkable or taxis are plentiful and cheap. We also have Uber. There are frequent buses running nearby. The nearest train station is Fratton which is a 20 min walk. If you are driving - you will require visitor's permits, which can be purchased for £3 per vehicle, per day via our Digital Guidebook which is sent prior to your stay. Parking is hit and miss as Portsmouth is a little overcrowded with vehicles but you will find a space on the main road or in one of the nearby side roads.

• This studio is one of ten in the building and offers self check-in. There is no front desk, but support is available if needed.
• Please note there is no lift. The studio is on the second floor and accessed by stairs.
• Parking permits are required for on-street parking and can be purchased from us before arrival.
• Please be mindful of quiet hours between 11pm and 8am, as this is a residential building.
• All properties are non-smoking, including any Juliet balcony/terrace.
• There are no on-site laundry facilities, however a launderette is a short walk away.
• A starter supply of essentials is provided. Additional supplies can be purchased locally during your stay.
• For stays of 28 days or more, an increased cleaning fee applies per stay.

Good location. Unfortunately the front door would not unlock so we couldn’t get into the building for an hr and a half and only because somebody else was going in - not a good start to the weekend. 25 minute walk into town. Parking is hit and miss as there are alot of cars around. Room was a nice size and adequate for what we needed. Mattress was a bit soft so not to my liking but comfortable. No milk unfortunately but when I contacted the host he brought some to us. Tv does not have basic free view due to no signal but plenty of streaming available.

Good Location

Needed somewhere to stay when visiting family. Good, reasonable priced accommodation for one night stay. Clean and good facilities.Close to Southsea seafront.
