Villa San Giacomo - Unique Villa in Positano

VILLA SAN GIACOMO - POSITANO AREA
A luxurious historic villa set in one of the most alluring sceneries of Italy, with views over Positano and the sea. Built in the 1700s by a wealthy merchant, it resides in the oldest part of Positano, overlooking the harbour, from where the merchants could see their ships sailing in.

Like the villa's first owners, today's guests sleep in sumptuous suites decorated with exquisite antiques and period paintings; the only difference between then and now being the addition of the latest in contemporary technology and comfort. The villa was completely restored in 2013.

There are 150 steps from street level to the property, but guests can use an elevator that goes directly to the villa's garden gate. Guests will be welcomed in front of the elevator entrance, and can easily reach the villa without any steps. The elevator operates from 8 AM to 8 PM.

The property that develops over 4 floors, with 1000 square meters of garden and 350 square meters of terraces. We find the main entrance on the central floor where there is a large terrace, the well equipped kitchen, a dining room with sofas and satellite TV and 4 toilets.

On the upper floor we find 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower and terrace with extraordinary views.

On the lower level there are 4 more double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower and terrace.

Going up the stairs, we reach the newly developed third floor, the loft area. Here, the level is divided in two:
- on the left we have two double/twin bedrooms connected through a sliding door but each with its own bathroom
- on the right, two double/twin bedrooms connected with a sliding door but each with its own bathroom
Please note that the rooms are separated by a sliding door so to reach the hallway, you must cross a bedroom on each side of the loft area.


Outside, we are welcomed by the beautiful Mediterranean garden with private swimming pool (4.5x8.5m; 1.3m deep) with sun lounges (8).
