Getting Around:

🚗 Pounding Mill is a car-dependent area. Guests will find it easiest to get around by personal vehicle, allowing access to local shops, dining, and natural attractions. The property provides free parking for up to 3 vehicles on the driveway.



🚕 Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft may have limited availability in Pounding Mill. Guests planning to use these services should check app availability and wait times in advance, especially during off-peak hours.



✈️ For air travel, the nearest major airport is Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA), located approximately 80 miles from Pounding Mill. Another option is Tri-Cities Airport (TRI), about 95 miles away. Both airports require a car rental or a pre-arranged shuttle service for transport to the property.



🚶 Pounding Mill is not designed for extensive walking or biking. Most destinations are not within comfortable walking or biking distance, and roads may lack dedicated pedestrian or bike paths.



Other Things to Note:

▶ This apartment is privately owned and does not include maid service or daily cleanings. The cleaning fee covers a final cleaning (after your checkout).



▶ Unregistered guests are not permitted.



▶ Pets are not allowed.



▶ No parties. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 9:00 am. Significant noise or playing loud music after 10:00 pm will result in you being asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.



▶ Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the apartment and in any areas connected to it, including the balcony, entryway, windows, shared hallways, or any part of the building's premises that may affect other residents or guests. If there is any evidence of smoking, a $250 penalty will apply, and your reservation will be terminated immediately without a refund for any unused nights.



▶ Check-in is at/after 4 pm and check-out time is no later than 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability. Late check-out without prior approval will result in a fee of $100 per hour for each hour after 11 am.



▶ During check-in, you will find towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper provided for your convenience. Please note that we do not provide additional supplies during your stay, so we recommend planning accordingly.



▶ Please note that moving the furniture in the apartment is not permitted. Violation of this rule can result in a penalty in the amount of $250.



▶ TRASH: There is a trash collection place where it is possible to take the trash every day during the week. Trash is removed daily at the collection point.



▶ Do not flush paper towels, wipes, trash, or feminine products down the toilet. Please use the bins instead. If it is found that something has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages.



▶ Our properties are professionally cleaned and treated regularly for pests. Due to the local climate, occasional insects may enter the home despite our best efforts. Please let us know if you experience any issues, and we'll address them immediately.
