Casa do Forno, a pretty farmhouse offering relaxation and rest with a private garden

Casa da Forno is a particularly pretty house with its own large private garden surrounded by fruit and olive trees, overlooking the valley.

The south facing garden has its own patio, Bar-B-Q, eating and sunbathing area - as its catches most of the sun during the day it is a very pleasant place to eat, sunbathe in private or just relax.

The house has two bedrooms with each en-suite shower / toilet. The first bedroom has two twin beds and is next to the lounge area. Access to the second bedroom which has a double bed is via the garden. The lounge area is spacious and is equipped with TV / video (CD).

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, cooker and farmhouse table seating four (4) people. The house has been renovated to a very high standard with all modern utilities but it still retains its original ambience and period style. The positioning of the house coupled with the old thick granite walls ensure, a pleasant temperature in the house all year round - even in the height of the summer.
Overall, the house is very spacious and has been carefully renovated. It is furnished in a mix of modern and Portuguese style and is very cosey and comfortable. The kitchen still has the original traditional farmhouse oven used for baking bread.

The house was originally used for food storage and preparation - bread, honey, smoked meats etc. - and as shelter for the farms small animals.

The house is strictly non-smoking.
