friendly, ex-location

very helpful staff, agent messed up our room booking but the staff sorted out an another hotel and payed for taxi and and a room in the monestary for the rest of our stay,,in the end it worked out very well.

Ainutlaatuinen sijainti ,lostavat näköalat ja rauhallinen ympäristö.Ainut miinuspuoli oli hissittömyys,koska asuimme yläkerroksessa.

Siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli linnan ja luostarin vieressä. Saimme ilmaiseksi korotuksen Delux huoneeseen, mikä oli iloinen yllätys. Standardihuoneet todella pienet kooltaan. Pieni aamiaishuone, joten kannattaa tulla ajoissa aamiaiselle. Harkitsen ehdottomasti hotellia uudelleen, jos menen Prahassa käymään.

Perfect from start to end

I really liked the area, there are several sights near, like the Prague Castle, Petrín Tower, Nový Svĕt etc. but much less crowds that in the Old Town. The Charles Bridge and Old Town are within walking distance and tram 22 takes you back up. The hotel is located at the Strahov Monastery grounds. I had a two-story room and I was able to see pretty much the entire Prague from my room window. The minibar mentioned in room details is actually a fridge and there is plenty of room also for own drinks etc. Free wi-fi worked perfectly and the free breakfast was also tasty. There are around 14 seats inside and a very nice garden to eat breakfast outside on a good weather. Air-conditioning in the room was efficient and the room was kept well clean. There are several restaurants within 100 meters, try the monastery beers! Everything worked well and the location was unique, so this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
