The staff were lovely, however we had to change rooms as there was an event on upstairs and we could hear absolutely everything. The walls are thin in this building!

Modern classy hotel. Nice staff. Good value The bar on the 6th was a surprise; we decided to try it expecting an empty hotel bar - it was packed, we had to sit on bar stools, great atmosphere / bar staff.

I honestly have no idea how this hotel earned such high ratings. My stay was nothing short of disappointing. The room was unbelievably small — borderline deceptive. When I first walked in, I thought there had been a mistake. After checking the online photos again, I realized they never show a full view of the room, and now I understand why. The beds are jammed against the wall, and the “walkway” is so narrow that only one person can shuffle through sideways. There was no desk, just a tiny, useless shelf. With no fridge, no kettle, and no amenities to offset the cramped layout, the room felt even more impractical. There was no closet and not a single drawer — instead, hangers were mounted directly on the wall along the already tight walkway, so I kept knocking into the clothes every time I passed. The basics were disappointing as well. The shampoo and body wash smelled terrible, and the carpet was visibly dirty, making the room feel poorly maintained and uncomfortable. That pretty much summed up the level of care. Overall, the room felt claustrophobic, poorly designed, and badly maintained. After this stay, I genuinely question how this hotel has such glowing reviews. I would not stay here again.

Modern hotel, room is small but new. Wish there was at least one bottle of water and a kettle for tea/coffee. I didn’t have breakfast pre-booked. When I went to restaurant, I was told I need to pay straight away, which meant I needed to go back to my room to take money. Location is great!

Great hotel, but very noisy at night The hotel itself is beautiful — very clean, modern, and well-designed. The rooftop is definitely a highlight, with amazing views and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room didn’t work, and since the hotel is right next to the railway station, it was too noisy to sleep with the window open. If the AC had worked, it would have been a perfect stay.

Very disappointing experience We arrived late at night after a 7-hour train ride and were first given a wheelchair-accessible room with a broken toilet, at the end of a confusing hallway. After several trips back and forth to the reception, we were moved to another room — but it took 45 minutes and multiple key card issues. The new room was extremely small, had a bad smell, and was noisy from the main road. Definitely not worth over $400 per night. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

The check-in desk was understaffed, especially given the tedious procedure they have. All the information the request has already been provided at booking. Other than that, everything was really good. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is available for about 20 euros, but we didn't take advantage of that. There is a bar on the sixth floor that is a very nice space.

Tiny room, very claustrophobic and the heating/cooling system didn't work. There were no tea/coffee or fridge amenities. There was the minimum of clothing storage, one dustbin and a shower that clogged up and sprayed water across the rest of the floor. The only hotel that I have stayed at, anywhere in the world, that didn' t have at least one English television channel! Like all Motel One hotels no gym/fitness area. The good bits. Stylish entrance and bar, close to the central station. Not far from the old town. Probably fine for a single business person only staying one night. Personally, I would choose a better hotel, even if it meant spending 20 - 30% more.
