The property is on the downhill, looks visibly worn and in need of upgrading. Carpet in rooms for instance needs to be cleaned. Room was "clean" but felt damp and smelled moldy. It was hard to sleep because of the poor air quality and overall lack of air circulation.

Don’t stay here!

Our room smelled like urine and the tile floor felt sticky and dirty. The bathroom light above the mirror was burned out, deadbolt didn’t work. The biscuits and gravy were cold and the scrambled eggs were watery mush. The lobby bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I don’t know how this place has a high rating because the desk people were unprofessional and wouldn’t even give me a partial credit

The staff were wonderful people. We had to leave early in the morning for check out and the breakfast was ready a half hour before posted hour: which was greatly appreciated. They also had some great recommendations for dinner.

Very Deceiving

We checked in pretty late in the evening. When we got to our room we discovered our tv didn’t work. They offered for us to change rooms but it was late and didn’t feel like moving everything we had already unpacked until we tried the shower and 1 the drain didn’t drain and 2 we couldn’t get the water to shut off. So we agreed to switch rooms by the time we got into our new room and settled it was close to 1 am. The new room wasn’t much better. Carpet was gross and coming up in some places. They clearly do not do any maintenance to any rooms. The shelf was broken the microwave sat on and was being held off the bottom by towels. One of the elevators didn’t wasn’t working. None of the ice machines worked in the hotel and there was a sign saying they had ice in the kitchen so when I asked they said sorry we ran out! This hotel is very deceiving! Looks great on the surface but then you get in and it’s one thing after another wrong! I included pictures from the first room we were in and the second. I told them I had a lot of food I needed to put in fridge as we were traveling for baseball and the 2nd room they put us in had a tiny fridge. When I told them I needed a bigger fridge they told me they only had one size fridge in the entire hotel which was not true. The first room had a bigger fridge. If they try to put you in room 404 don’t do it or 407. Like I said I do t think they do any maintenance!

You live and learn....

Checked in at 4 pm, no one at the desk so I waited...and waited. Got my room #, went to it, heard voices in the room, knocked on door, gentleman answered. He said he had another connecting room that they couldn't get into because it was locked from the inside. Had squatters in it. Gave them the room I was supposed to have. Back downstairs I went. SLOWEST and warmest elevators I've ever been in. Took a while but gave me a different room. It was ok, definitely nothing special. The bathroom faucet was a "wall mount" single handle with a shower arm out of the wall to the sink, threaded on both ends. I wish I had taken a picture instead of just snapchatting it. Laughable. All ice machines were broken, had to get ice from the downstairs kitchen if you wanted it. One elevator wouldn't work if you were on the third or fourth floor to go down, fine when going up. Did I mention how SLOW the elevators were?? It was ok for one night, bed was comfortable, whiskey was really good too....

People were stuck in elevator when we arrived. The room we reserved was not ready, as the adjoined room hacked in and locked the door from the inside. The host gave us a new room and told us it was clean, because she even helped clean it. When we got to the room, the maid was still cleaning it. A short time later the room was ready. The carpet squares were coming apart and there was one light bulb in the bathroom that worked. We told front desk about lights, and she told us the ballast was broken and owner has not had it repaired. After returning from supper, all of the light bulbs were replaced and obviously the ballast wasn't really broken. Later that evening, we heard a knock on the door. The hotel had given the room to another person. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
