A spacious apartment for 2 - 5 people on 2 floors with sloping ceilings (therefore larger area than indicated) upstairs consisting of: • 1 spacious living-dining room incl. Kitchenette • a bedroom with double bed • a bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed upstairs, which can be reached via a space-saving staircase from the living room • a shower room • kitchenette with stove, fridge and microwave In front of the apartment is on the parapet (balcony) space for a small table with chairs. The apartment is equipped with a laminate floor and tiled floor in the bathroom. It is a non-smoking apartment.

The Sophienhof is located outside the village of Neu Heinde on the B108. The apartments are located at the back of the house overlooking the garden, the village and the small Neu Heinder lake and the hills behind. Here you can hear the bleating of our sheep and the crows of cocks. The Sophienhof is a converted settlement estate from the 30s of the last century and has been home to many years since 2001, a ostrich farm. On the extensive grounds (about 5ha) around the house are still the old stables, where live now our sheep, calves and chickens. For your four-legged friends, we have set up a dog meadow on which they can let off steam. Seats in the garden and on the grounds invite you to relax. Our old fruit trees are a feast for the eyes, especially during the flowering season, as are the many shrubs along the trail over the grounds. A barbecue area is available, and the herbs for grilling grow on the balcony in front of each apartment.   Our small café offers space for about 20 people inside and outside and can be used by groups. Every third Sunday of the month it is open to everyone.

Arrivals are possible from 15:00 to 19:00 and departures from 07:00 to 10:00.
