This charming 100-year-old farmhouse with mountain views is located at 1,600 meters in the forest of Casern in South Tyrol, near the Austrian border. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows you can enjoy the surrounding nature from the comfort of the heated house. This chalet consists of 6 bedrooms (3 with a single bed each), a washroom with 2 showers, a separate guest toilet and a well-equipped kitchen with breathtaking views of the mountain scenery with the Zillertal Alps and the Rieserfernergruppe. Other amenities include Wi-Fi and a wooden box with board games for cozy evenings in the Parlor with a South Tyrolean farm stove. A balcony and a covered furnished terrace, as well as a private garden are there for you to relax and breathe in the crisp, clean mountain air. The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute drive away (2.6 km). Although the mountain chalet feels secluded and private, you will find a cluster of hotels and guest homes with restaurants just 100 m away. Only 100 m further is the tourist center for the nature parks Rieserferner-Ahrn, with cross country ski rentals and hiking opportunities. If you prefer downhill skiing, Skiarena Klausberg is just a 20-minute (14 km) drive away. The nearest airports are in Bolzano (Bozen) and Innsbruck, Austria, both about 1.5 hours away by car.
