Walk to the Courthouse Square, Whiskey Row, restaurants, shops, and events, then return to your own peaceful sanctuary.

The Space:

Enjoy the character of historic Prescott from this charming 1919 two-bedroom, one-bathroom home. Thoughtful updates provide modern convenience while preserving the personality and warmth that make an older home special.

Living area: The comfortable living space offers a relaxing place to unwind after exploring downtown. Historic-inspired décor, warm finishes, and natural light create an inviting atmosphere for conversation or a quiet evening at home.

Kitchen and dining: The updated kitchen includes the appliances and everyday essentials needed to prepare meals throughout your stay. Enjoy dinner inside or step into the backyard for an alfresco meal.

Bedrooms: Two spacious bedrooms with one bed in each room provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to four guests. Bed linens are included.

Bathroom: The beautifully appointed bathroom features both a large walk-in shower and a classic clawfoot bathtub, giving guests the choice of a quick rinse or a long, relaxing soak. Towels and essential bath amenities are provided.

Private backyard: Step outside to a peaceful backyard with a table and chairs for outdoor dining and a BBQ area for relaxed meals at home. It’s an inviting setting for morning coffee, afternoon conversation, or a quiet evening.

The home’s central location makes it easy to experience the Courthouse Square, Whiskey Row, restaurants, shops, galleries, and seasonal downtown events on foot.

Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire home, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, kitchen, living and dining areas, laundry facilities, and private backyard. Check-in and property access instructions will be provided before arrival.

The Neighborhood:

The home is located in a historic neighborhood near downtown Prescott. The Courthouse Square, Whiskey Row, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, galleries, and community events are within comfortable walking distance, allowing guests to park and explore much of downtown on foot.

Getting Around:

Many downtown attractions can be reached on foot from the home. A vehicle is recommended for visiting Watson Lake, Lynx Lake, the Granite Dells, hiking trails, and destinations outside central Prescott. Rideshare services may also be available.

Other Things to Note:

This is a historic 1919 home with the character and quirks that come with an older property. Cooling is provided by a window air-conditioning unit rather than central air. The unit keeps its immediate room most comfortable but may not cool the entire home evenly during especially warm weather.

The home accommodates a maximum of four guests across two bedrooms and two beds. Pets are welcome with prior notice and applicable fees; please include all pets when booking. Parties and events are not permitted.

It was the perfect spot for a little weekend getaway. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the location is perfect for a quick walk downtown to enjoy the night life. The old architecture from 1919 added to the character of the home, and the host was very communicative and responsive.

1st we booked this location because it says “Garage Parking Available- Rare for this Area”. There is NO GARAGE. When I messaged about it, the host said there is no garage and he would look into it. Two days later, it’s still advertising Garage Parking Available!! 2nd the dishwasher doesn’t work, so you are instructed to wash the dishes you use by hand, and leave them in the dishwasher racks to dry. 3rd the recliners in the living room are worn and cracked. The host could at least add a couple of throws to put on them. Although they’re old, they’re still comfortable enough, but if you have long hair, it will get tangled in the patches that are falling off that had been used at one time to repair the cracks. The house itself was charming and the neighborhood relatively quiet. We only used the king bed, and it was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early, before an afternoon appointment. We personally wouldn’t stay here again, because we prefer to have a garage to park in.

Decent Property

Our stay at this property was okay. This is a house that is part of an apartment complex. You might meet the neighbors who live in the other apartments. They do walk through the front of your yard, so if you have a dog, you should make sure that the gate is always locked. Sometimes the neighbors leave it open. There are two doors to the house, with two house keys. The first door is extremely hard to open, because it sticks so badly. You have to muscle it to open it.The covered porch light, and front porch light do not work, so you have to use your cell phone light to see the key hole. There is no central air, only a wall unit AC, that you have to run constantly. There are ceiling fans, but the bedrooms can get warm. The house was built in 1919, so I imagine that a central AC unit isn’t possible. If you want to take out the trash, you have to walk around the corner about a half block away to throw it into a dumpster. The property owner seemed nice, but wasn’t quick to respond. Check out time is at 10:00 AM. And hour earlier than most VRBO houses. On the positive note, the neighborhood is quiet, there is plenty of parking. You are located close to downtown Whiskey Row. It is a clean home. Lastly, the shower in the bathroom was great. All in all, would I stay here again? Probably not.
