Welcome to the Lynx Creek Love Shack! Stay in a private one bedroom cottage with all the amenities! Spacious, private, tree covered yard lets you get away from the busy city life and cool down from sizzling summer temperatures. Sit and relax to the soothing sounds of your own private waterfall. Lots of windows including a skylight in the bedroom to watch the stars at night. UGG robes, fireplace, towel warmer and heated toilet seat to keep you cozy in the winter. Full kitchen, over sized shower, smart TVs in the living area and bedroom. Ethan Allen sofa with fabric ottoman to relax on. Keurig coffee machine, and full sized fridge for longer visits. Completely private front yard to relax, read a book, play a game or watch for the deer to wander by! Walking distance from the house to hiking trails including walking up to the Lynx Lake Cafe. Mountain biking on these trails is a favorite! All of this and only 10 minutes from charming downtown Prescott. Five minutes from Costco, Sprouts, Walmart and Trader Joe's for your shopping convenience. Even though you are this close to civilization, on the property you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere!! While the Love Shack is attached to our home, it faces a different direction and has its own entrance and yard. It is completely private from our home. Property has high speed internet and streaming services only.

We had a wonderful stay at Barbara and Steven’s place in Prescott. The home was everything we were hoping for; quiet, quaint, and incredibly relaxing. It’s tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still close enough to enjoy everything Prescott has to offer.The space itself was lovely and thoughtfully maintained, with charming touches that made it feel warm and inviting from the moment we arrived. It was also very clean and well-stocked with the essentials, which made settling in easy and comfortable.Barbara and Steven were gracious, responsive hosts who clearly care about their guests’ experience. Their communication was smooth, and they made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.We especially appreciated how serene the surroundings were. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and recharge. Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or a cozy home base to explore Prescott, this spot is a fantastic choice.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Very communicative and friendly hosts. The location is fantastic, tucked into the woods above Lynx Creek on a quiet backroad, yet only a few minutes from highway 69 that links Prescott & Prescott Valley. The apartment is very comfortable and the host went out of her way to ensure that I was able to block the light from the skylight that is directly over the bed, so I could sleep past sunrise. They are lovely people. There's a great outdoor space with a patio and firepit that would be fun in some season other than January when I was there. Very private space with its own driveway, entrance, and contactless check-in.

This is a truly lovely rental in a wonderful location. Hosts were helpful. We’re elderly and I don’t remember seeing anything about a step down into the bathroom. Also the toilet is VERY low and it was difficult to get up with our old knees. Other than that, it is a great accommodation, as nice as it looks and sounds!!

We had a most lovely time staying at this property. Ease to get ahold of owner when had a mishap and the host immediately fixed the issue and answered questions we needed answered. The property was clean and had everything one might need. They take good care of their clients and we were appreciative. If we travel this way again, it will be at the top of our list.

Great little secluded place in the woods

Adorable little loveshack in the woods! Awesome property. Super short walk to trails. Super short drive to stores. Great weekend reprive from valley heat. We loved the waterfall which created relaxing sound like being on a river and brought all the birds. The property layout is adorable and unique! Best of all we could bring our little dogs and property is mostly fenced in. One note to d0g owners - the property does connect to the owners home and they have sweet but curious dogs who wanted to see what we were doing every time they were out. They were sweet and well behaved but my dogs didnt love having strange dogs at the fence. All in all a 5star place and would come again.

Such a cute property and the hosts were amazing

We had a very nice stay here and loved the property and the amenities. Nice hiking within walking distance. I loved that it was enclosed and our dog could be off leash. Highly recommend this property and hosts.

amazing stay in Prescott with peace and quiet

The Love Shack is exactly as described ..only even better! We had lovely weather and enjoyed all 3 sitting areas outside as well as peaceful creek. We arrived after dark and all of the lights were on which we appreciated along with all of the amenities. The hosts couldnt be lovelier.

This place was decent but not great. Barking dogs were a huge annoyance. Couch was uncomfortable and didn’t seem clean, shower water didn’t get hot and no free bottle of wine as advertised. Too dark inside overall.

WONDERFUL!

My husband and I spent one night at this cabin. Barbara and Steven were amazing hosts, kind and easy to reach. The place is immaculate and you can sense the love with which it was built. The skylight over the bed was amazing. We loved staying there and would def. come back!

Perfect little getaway!
