"Hello we welcome you to the castle of the Wildensteiner" the former country estate of the Wildensteiner in Schlopp!
In the land of the "Franconians"! In the Franconian Forest!
In the immediate vicinity of the" Steinachklamm "in 500 metres distance! Where once stood the knight's castle of the "Wildensteiner" which was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War.
First documented mention in 1024 in a district of Presseck in the Franconian Forest.

The castle building, built in 1650, was renovated piece by piece and then partly rented out.
We have partially furnished it with furniture from past times, the windows have been reworked and are preserved in the original. The interior doors have also been kept as original as possible.

Old ceilings were uncovered, repaired and repainted.
The large beer cellar under the "castle" can be used to cool off on hot days!
Perhaps beer will be brewed here again after !

Our castle is equipped with wooden furniture, some of which is over 100 years old, mostly single beds that can be converted into a double bed with a belt.

Outside there is a covered seating area for up to 20 people + plenty of benches + tables available!

2x barbecue bar which can be operated with charcoal!

Excursion possibility into the "Steinachtal" with the Steinachklamm in the immediate vicinity!
