Positioned next to the canal and the River Calder, this fabulous glamping site is perfect for nature lovers and outdoor explorers; there are some lovely riverside walks on your doorstep. The Crumbly Lancashire Cheese Trail also passes by the site and follows the River Wyre and historic canal. Spanning over 271 acres of woodland, moorland and farmland, Beacon Fell Country Park, 5.5 miles away, is brimming with wildlife and views of the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay. A National Landscape, the Forest of Bowland, 17.5 miles away, provides even more scenic landscapes to explore. The centre of the village of Catterall (1.5 miles) provides a great insight into countryside life.
Accessed via a step up onto the entrance deck, the open-plan living/kitchen/dining/sleeping layout of this homely bolthole boasts all your creature comforts amongst beautifully elegant interiors. Reminiscent of times past, the quirky curved ceiling and rustic wooden-clad walls add warmth and reflect the rich heritage of the local area. The contemporary kitchen perfectly complements the country cottage style finish, whilst the dining set and sumptuous sofa provide a cosy space to sit back and relax at the end of a busy day.
