Our accommodation is secluded in the heart of the Sierras Subbéticas Cordobesas Natural Park, in an idyllic setting at the foot of a mountain range covered in Mediterranean forest, surrounded by centuries-old holm oaks and offering incredible views of Pico Bermejo and La Tiñosa, the highest peaks in the province of Córdoba. In short, it's an ideal place for hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing, where you might hear an Eagle Owl at night, or a fox, or spot mountain goats, or even squirrels...

We have restored an old farmhouse, striving to preserve the essence of a traditional country home while providing all the modern comforts. Air conditioning in all four first-floor bedrooms and the living/dining room, 100 Mbps Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the property, 55-inch smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, etc. The ground floor comprises a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom with a 1.35 x 1.90 m bed. The first floor has two double bedrooms, one triple bedroom, and one quadruple bedroom.

Outside, there is a 9 x 8 meter swimming pool with nighttime lighting, a barbecue area, an outdoor bathroom with a shower, and several recreational areas, including a kitchenette and DJ area, hammocks, and eight sun loungers for sunbathing from April to October, as well as another bathroom with a washing machine.

We have a 30 x 15 m dirt sports court with two futsal goals, where we will soon be installing a small badminton/volleyball court and a basketball hoop.

In addition, just 25 meters away, there is a building with a large 150 m² living room on its top floor, accessible from the street. This room can be used for celebrations or simply as an extension of the main house. It features a large country-style fireplace in the center, a smart TV, wine racks, a gas stove with a 1-meter-wide oven, a video projector and screen, board games, armchairs, and sofas for 15 people. On the ground floor, there are 12 stables for horse lovers, a watering trough, and a cleaning area. This building is not included in the reservation price.

The property boasts 21,000 m² of land, allowing guests to explore every corner of the incredible Mediterranean forest that surrounds it.

It is located just over 5 km from Priego de Córdoba, 4 km from Carcabuey, 13 km from Almedinilla, and 29 km from Alcalá la Real. 98 km from Córdoba, 90 km from Granada, 110 km from Málaga, 90 km from Jaén. That is, almost in the center of Andalusia, ideal for half-day trips and returning to relax at home.

Excellent stay. The house is in a very peaceful location surrounded by olive groves but also within easy access of 2 nearby towns. It was very clean and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the Subbéticas, one of the highlights of our trip.
