Lakefront Cottage Near Sandbanks with Sunset View and Picton

Our spacious waterfront cottage is privately owned and located within the gated Cherry Beach Resort. Situated right on East Lake, it offers spectacular, unobstructed views of the water and breathtaking sunsets. Located on the low, flat area of the peninsula, the lake deepens gradually from the shoreline, making it a safe place for children to play while the whole family enjoys the beautiful waterfront setting. In the evening, gather around the fire pit to roast s'mores, share stories, and create lasting memories under the stars.

The cottage is located in a quiet area of Cherry Beach Resort. The sandy beach is just a short walk away and can even be seen from the cottage. At the end of the beach is the Welcome Centre, where you can enjoy the heated swimming pool, splash pad, and multi-sport court. You can also sign out kayaks and stand-up paddleboards by the hour. A coin-operated laundry facility, along with change rooms and washrooms, is conveniently located beside the pool.

Our private dock is available for your enjoyment. During your stay, you are welcome to use our canoe, and stand-up paddleboard at no additional charge. Children often enjoy fishing from the dock, while adults love exploring East Lake by canoe.

All eight windows of the cottage offer unobstructed lake views, as there are no cottages on the south side of the peninsula to block the scenery. You'll truly feel as though you're staying on your own private island.

Start your morning with a cup of coffee in the large screened sunroom overlooking the lake, or relax on the open deck with panoramic water views on both sides of the peninsula. Early mornings and evenings are perfect for watching a variety of waterfowl flying across the lake. Enjoy family meals at the outdoor dining table or dine comfortably in the screened sunroom when the weather is less than ideal. The BBQ is located on the patio beside the deck, where comfortable Muskoka chairs provide the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
There is parking for two large vehicles directly beside the cottage.

Prince Edward County offers something for everyone. Just a short drive from the resort, you'll find the town of Picton, the beautiful Sandbanks beaches, boutique shops, excellent restaurants, a drive-in theatre, and many renowned wineries.

The cottage is fully equipped with central air conditioning, heating, and all the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. It is the perfect home base for exploring Prince Edward County.

The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests, with a maximum of 4 adults.

Sleeping arrangements include:
• Master bedroom: Queen bed • Second bedroom: Single-over-double bunk bed • Third bedroom: Single-over-single bunk bed • Screened sunroom: Two double pull-out sofa beds • Living room: One double pull-out sofa bed.

All three bedrooms feature unobstructed lake views.

The cottage includes high-speed Wi-Fi and a wired Ethernet connection, allowing you to stream Netflix, YouTube, play online games, or work remotely if needed.

Your stay includes a complimentary daily vehicle pass to Sandbanks Provincial Park. Reservations can be made online up to five days in advance and are strongly recommended, especially on weekends. Please remember to leave the Sandbanks pass on the kitchen counter before checking out. A $175 replacement fee will apply if the pass is not returned.

Upon arrival, please check in at the Welcome Centre to collect your keys and gate-access fobs. Cherry Beach Resort charges a resort fee of $35 per night plus HST, which provides access to the resort's amenities.

Please bring your favourite condiments, as we provide only a few basic essentials such as sugar, salt, and pepper.

Please also bring your own bath towels, bedsheets and pillowcases. We provide pillows, but not pillowcases. Many guests also prefer to bring their own pillows and blankets to make their stay feel more like home.

This cottage offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
