Dreamview Glass Suite: Unique apartment with wide ocean and mountain views

Join us in the uniquely glass-encased Suite of the Dreamview Lodge in Pringle Bay and enjoy the spectacular views, warm village hospitality and rich natural life of the Kogelberg Biosphere.

The Dreamview Glass Suite is a 1-bedroom self-contained apartment on the ground floor of the Butterfly Villa. It is one of two suites that form the Dreamview Lodge.

The Glass Suite can accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children on pop-out beds on the floor. We took great care to ensure maximum privacy and comfort. The Glass Suite features its own private entrance and offers complete blackout blinds throughout. We've carefully selected every piece of linen to ensure that your sleep is plush and restful - many of our guests say that ours are the most comfortable beds they’ve ever been in.

The small kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare simple meals. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our recommended private chef service if you’d rather order in. Filtered drinking water is on tap.

The Butterfly Villa is 90% off-grid, with solar panels providing electricity even when the power is out. Free unlimited WiFi is available throughout the Lodge.

What makes The Glass Suite truly exceptional is the spectacular 270º view over the village and False Bay. Enjoy the wide vista from bed or from the al fresco lounge on the patio that stretches out over the fynbos garden.

Use of the Jacuzzi is subject to availability for a fee of R500/night.

Off-street parking is available behind a secure, gated entry with sufficient space for up to 6 vehicles. The electric fence also serves the purpose of keeping the baboons at a healthy distance.

The Glass Suite may share the parking area with guests from the Family Suite if both units are booked.
The Dreamview Lodge can also be booked as a whole - it then includes the Family Suite that sleeps 4 adults and 2 children in 3 bedrooms (an extra double sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2 more).
Please note that the top floor of the Butterfly Villa is reserved for private use.

Dreamview is a 5-minute walk from the beach and a choice of great restaurants and shops in the village of Pringle Bay. Activities in the area include sandboarding, kayaking, biking, Blue Flag beaches, surfing, boogie boarding, stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP), swimming and numerous walking trails.

Pringle Bay is situated in the UNESCO Kogelberg Biosphere, and guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife from the kitchen, dining room, and patio, or take a short drive to the Stony Point Penguin Colony or the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden in Betty's Bay. Pringle Bay is a fantastic spot for whale watching from July to October.

As a guest of this apartment, you'll find a hot tub, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
