No hopspitality

We stayed one night after a long ten hour drive to get some rest before our second trek back home. We finally got to sleep at ten pm, only to be awakened by a leak dripping from the ceiling next to our bed. The leak continued till approximately 4:30 am. We advised the asst manager of our dis-satisfaction with the room upon our checkout. The only concern she relayed to us was that we should of notified them so they could move us to another room. We explained we were too exhausted to get dressed and move our luggage waiting for domeone to move us. Then she proceeded to tell me that the leak had stopped. As if I cared about the hotels status. When pressing her about our horrible night she didnt seem to care, making no offer for a restay or refund for the experience. Not to mention I could not understand her as her accent was so heavy we struggled over every other word to make out what she was saying. These people have no idea how to handle customers or provide adequate apologies. Zero hospitality

I just love the place. For the last 5 years, my family and I go to Utah at least twice a year. We always stay in this place. It has a very nice convenient hot breakfast with many options. It has a fitness center with some weights and cardio equipment and a nice, heated pool with a spa. It's location is great. 5 minutes from a shopping area, 5 minutes from a movie theater and dozens of dining options. It's fantastic.

The hotel was convenient to the freeway. but we did not experience any road noise. The breakfast buffet was very good - better than any we have seen for a while. The buffet staff were very attentive and kept items fresh. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as we asked questions about the area. Our room was clean and a nice size. We also liked the bathroom and entry layouts. We stayed there the first night of our trip and changed our final night reservation so that we could stay there again. About 30 minutes from SLC, it worked well for us for visits to the Tulip Festival and Temple Square.

We ended up not being able to stay at this hotel because they gave my room with 2 standard beds to someone else and then left me with a king sized bed which I could not use as we needed 2 separate beds. They told me they didn’t have another room with 2 beds and although they made the error and admitted it was their error, they would not provide compensation. I had to go find another hotel room for my elderly family members at midnight.

We had a late change in our plans and needed to add an additional guest room. They took time to arrange it on short notice and even placed the room next to the two existing rooms we had. I know that this is not always possible, but when it is, it is nice to know they are willing to make the extra effort rather than just giving us a random room. They really seemed to enjoy serving us! We have family that we visit in this area and we difinitely will consider staying here again.

I had booked my trip for business and unfortunately was given a room 2 doors off of the elevator lobby. It was also spring break for some so the traffic was heavy and loud until the pool was fully closed down, not a good environment for work. Internet also was very spotty in the evenings causing me to need ot log back in a few times.
