Wedding Stay
The owner was responsive and communication was easy. The hot tub was great, and the location was a short uber ride to the places I needed to be. The views of the mountains were good, and the neighborhood is quiet. This is a basement of someone’s house… I missed that in the listing. It’s not an issue for most, but worth knowing.Also worth noting…Entry from the road to the deck is difficult. I’m fit, and getting a moderate suitcase inside was less than safe. It is not a set of manufactured stairs with a handrail. Someone weed-whacked a path from the road, but left all the fallen wet weeds on the steps, so it was slick and practically invisible.Some upkeep things: Weeds on the patio and leading to the listing were over 2 feet tall, so we did not want to be outside on the patio that attracted us to the rental. They were not a problem using the hot tub.Also, the master had clearly not been vacuumed, as there were scattered bandaid wrappers and a sock from the previous stay still on the floor. The master window was taped shut, which needs some kind of maintenance.Kitchen says it’s fully set up, but usually that means there is at least salt & pepper & coffee. There were not enough dishes for the 5 the rental sleeps to get through one meal, so leave time for a grocery delivery and include paper goods in your order.All together it was a decent stay. Less than great in some areas, good in others. It suited our needs that trip.
