The house itself is very nice; the photos accurately depict the features and various rooms of the house. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace. A thorough cleaning was provided three times a week, which we did not expect and is unusual for a whole-house rental. The kitchen is well stocked, although there is no microwave oven (?). There is a built-in water filter on the cold-water (righthand) side of the kitchen sink, so you don't have to buy bottled water.The generalized "location" shown on the VRBO map is inaccurate – the house is actually on the beach side of the main highway and is, in fact, just steps from the beach itself.In addition to being "pet friendly", the house comes with its own pets! There are three resident cats (two are shown in one of the photos), and the man who cleans the pool comes by morning and evening every day to feed them. (Yes, he has a key and just lets himself in.)The main problem we had is that the electricity was cut off in the middle of the night five of the six nights we were there. This meant that the air conditioning (separate units in each bedroom) did not work properly, functioning only as fans and not cooling the air. We did not get a good night's sleep the whole week we were there. This was not the fault of the owner or manager but of the power company, but it is important to know.
