The resort is nice. There is no beach though like they show on the pictures. There was no scuba school either. THIS IS NOT A FUN PARTY RESORT. Pick something else. I was bored to death besides eating at the 3 restaurants and drinking at the pool bar over and over everyday. The food is good though.

Rooms were very clean, bright and beautiful. The pools were clean and well maintained daily. The drinks were varied and plentiful. They don't hold back on the alchol. The young lady who worked the last night of the the world series baseball game was extremely attentive and friendly. Lovely young lady served us again on our last night and did a wonderful job. Spa service was excellent! The ladies who did a massage for myself and my friend Debbie were excellent! Food was pretty good overall. It was such a good stay. All the staff were very friendly. Especially the waiters in the breakfast buffet. The girls in the coffee shop also all amazing! Concierge ws very helpful as well. I'm so bad with names and I'm exhausted from a long travel day but had to take a minute to thank all the staff we encountered.

When we checked in, we were informed they didn't have the room I booked and paid for. Same story for lady in front of me. Careful on the Swim-up/out Suites... We ended up having a great view in the new room - it's just not what I paid for. The offer to fix it started at $100 total. I laughed and asked what was behind Door #2. Then it went to a $34/night credit - this was half of the difference in the cost of one versus the other. I ended up agreeing to take the full discount of the cost back as a credit - not a good deal by any means but best I could get and I just wanted to start my vacation and arguing wasn't my goal. Resort is clean and pretty. No beach FYI but that was ok with 3 pools. However someone (different each time) pooped in the pool....yes, you read that correctly....on 2 separate days causing it to shut down both days - once at 1pm, once at 4pm for the rest of each day. This was not the resorts fault obviously, but still a bummer. So a beach resort with no beach and then down the main pool.....yeah.....this isn't getting multiple stars. Food was good, service was good. Place is clean. Just saying to prepare for some letdown.....I highly suggest taking tours as this place doesn't have enough to keep you content or happy for 4+ days.

This property was beautiful and clean. As far as resort food goes, everything was delicious and we didn't have a single bad meal. Servers and bartenders at every place we ate asked if we had any food allergies, even if they'd already met us during previous meals, which is something we haven't experienced as diligently before. The drinks were great with a different variety available at every bar which incentivized us to kind of bar hop throughout the day. There was poolside drink service, and every single member of staff we interacted with was friendly and seemed genuinely happy. We enjoyed the easygoing vibe, and played so much pool volleyball I think that most of us 'alcoholic people' could probably go pro at this point. The beach was washed away in bad weather, and the pool has a few spots that are crumbling, likely due to erosion, but this was alright because they had mats placed across anything even remotely harmful, otherwise the water was warm and clear the entire trip. The best part of our stay, however, were the multiple staff members who made this a great trip and were genuinely fun people to hang out with all week. Special shout outs to Angel and Mariel from the entertainment team, as well as our favorite bartender Orlando who put up with our mischievous attempts at bribery to turn off the World Series but held out for our Canadian friends watching the game. Moises, Roberto, and Eduardo also spent the week taking good care of us. We would definitely escape again!

I recently stayed at this resort and overall had an okay experience. The property is small but very clean and well maintained, and I really appreciated that the rooms were cleaned twice a day, which made the stay feel very comfortable. The pool area and pool parties were enjoyable and one of the highlights of the stay. However, there is no beach access, so if you want to enjoy the water, the pool is your only option. The food options were quite limited compared to other resorts I’ve visited. There’s one buffet restaurant (mainly serving breakfast), two fine dining options (Italian and steakhouse), one Mexican restaurant for lunch, and a sports bar. The biggest downside was that the buffet isn’t open for lunch or dinner, and the sports bar stops serving food at 9:30 PM, which makes it hard to find something to eat later in the evening. I also found that some staff members weren’t very welcoming or friendly, especially compared to other resorts where the service feels more warm and attentive. There could also be more activities and shows, especially on weekdays — I checked in on Wednesday evening, and Thursday felt quite boring since nothing was happening that day. Would I stay here again? Probably not, mainly because of the limited food options, lack of entertainment, and average service. Still, I appreciated how clean and well-kept the property was. My overall trip was enjoyable since I did outside excursions like Xcaret, but the resort itself could improve on hospitality.

Beautiful views, meticulously kept property, lots of great food options, great pools with swim-up bars. Room was airy and spacious with an ample balcony. Great spot for a group gathering. Only downside is that the location is a bit isolated — no easy access to anything outside the resort. Also, due to past hurricanes, there is no beach. The seaweedy sea comes right up to the break-wall. We would have enjoyed a walk on the beach and some all-inclusive beach-related activities like snorkeling and kayaking, but those are not available here.
