Great resort for families or anyone who doesn’t want to head into the town of PV. Not a great resort for people in their 20s. no poolside entertainment or many events hosted by the resort. there was kareoke night and bingo but those were the only two events the whole week. No airport transfers and tough and expensive to get an uber or Cab from the resort. the pools were the highlight , so many to choose from and loved the lazy river. There were only 3 main restaurants and then a pool snack and taco cart and a pantry open 24/7 but it only had soups sandwiches and cereal. They did have a soft serve ice cream machine that we loved but otherwise the food was very repetitive and nothing to write home about. the staff were very friendly we loved manuel at the lobby bar. The pools closed at 9 lazy river and waterslide at 6 and the bars near the pool closed early aswell. not much night life there more of a family resort. Also be prepared to walk as each building is far from the restaurants pools lobby etc.

The staff was amazing—by far the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The only decent thing they had was Maruchan noodles. The fries were stale, the hot dogs were mostly bun, everything was cold, and even the mimosas were unpleasant. The hotel itself is very boring. They did have a DJ two nights, which was fun, but that was the only entertainment. There were no shows or family activities. The beach they transport you to isn’t nice at all, and you’re forced to wait for golf cart rides just to get anywhere around the property, which is frustrating—especially in the heat. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be returning.

Online this resort looks incredible. It’s a lie. The media lunapool was under full renovation. The 12 other pools that look magical on Delta‘s website — are full of 50+ children, Band-Aids, smoke butts floating. The lazy river water is so murky. You can’t even see the bottom. The buffets are mediocre at best. The only good restaurant there is the Japanese restaurant which was delicious. Everything is a really far walk and up a hill. So if you have any issues with mobility, I would not suggest this resort unless you like waiting 15 minutes for a golf cart to drive you somewhere. The only adults only pool is in the tower six and gets full sun all day so the water is 90+ degrees. There is zero things to do here at night for adults. Every single thing at this resort is catered to children. Do not let anything online fool you. The small front bar is awkward and definitely not somewhere for nightlife. There is a beach shuttle that takes you to the beach from 10 to 6. But every day the hours are different. There was a wedding there one of the days and we were only allowed at the beach for two hours, but then had to wait an hour and a half in the sun without any water or drinks until the shuttle came to pick us up. The second day at the beach, they ran out of water after an hour, and the only thing left was juice or alcohol. We had a deluxe king room and it was gorgeous. Would have been peaceful, except for the constant construction noise. Would never go back to this resort.

This was a total relaxation haven where you have everything you need within the resort. What made the experience amazing was the staff who seem to actually love their jobs. We want to recognize Luis and Carlos (transportation), Wendy, Octavio, Alejandro, (Servers) Dash (Tonati Beach Club) and Fernando our amazing bartender by the pool who kept our margaritas flowing. Housekeeping was great too! We have not met any of them but you guys were great as well. Thank you thank you thank you and we will definitely be back!

Our first room had feces/throw up on the wall near the toilet. They then moved us to another room that was dirty and in disrepair. The service was horrible and the food was disgusting. My daughter threw up all night from the food. When we went to the beach club, they told us to book with the lobby and then said nothing was available. Then we complained and got a ride in twenty minutes with no one even on the shuttle. When we got to the beach club, there were no lounge chairs and we were told too bad, you will need to wait in the restaurant which is not what we wanted to do. My daughter asked for a menu at the beach club and waited for an hour with no menu that came. Overall the resort is dirty and the food and service are horrible. Would never recommend or go back here. We ended leaving after two days as we couldn’t handle it.

Tenía dudas sobre reservar este hotel por los comentarios, unos muy buenos, otros muy malos. Mi viaje fue con amigas y la pasamos increíble. El cuarto me encanto, se siente todo nuevo, la cama, la tele, todo en excelentes condiciones y limpio, no tienen como en otros all inclusive que te dejan botana o chocolates, solo hay un refri con refrescos, agua y cerveza. Las toallas un día nos tocaron nuevas hermosas y el otro día unas toallas horribles. Las albercas, las de la torre 6 muy padres, si vas a las otras parece balneario, muy llenas y hasta te da cosa meterte, pero la vista de la naturaleza es incomparable y solo por la foto te metes. Ve al club de playa en el primer shuttle de las 10, hay que reservar temprano, la comida y el servicio ahí es lo máximo, la comida y bebidas deliciosas y mis respetos a todos los meseros de ahí Susana, José y Dashel, siempre con una sonrisa, dispuestos a servirte, por ellos sería por lo que volvería a hospedarme aquí. Los buffets del desayuno buenísimos, los de las cenas podrían mejorar. El tepanyaki un 100, aplausos a Yareli la chef, lo malo es que solo puedes reservar una vez en toda tu estancia. Sin duda me volvería a hospedar si vas un fin de semana y te gusta la playa, si vas más días y solo te gusta la alberca no me quedaría aquí. Delta hotel is a very different option to stay. The hotel is nice and within the mountains and has access to a beach club which is 15 minutes away that is embedded in a small town. The beach town has very limited space for the size of the hotel. You need to call very early to book a spot on the 10 am vans to secure a good spot. If you arrive there by 11 be prepared to be at the very back and to probably find no spots. Towels are not provided there you need to carry them all the way from the towel area from the hotel. There is good food and drinks service at the beach club. At the pools area there are only drinks no food or snacks. Waiters do not remove that often used glasses or cans so you can see a lot of them just lying around. The adults jacuzzies are used by kids and no one says nothing even though you report that to the hotel staff at the pool area. The pools are nice though, lots is them within the mountain. The lazy river is amazing. The restaurant options are great, specially the Tepanyaki. The pantry is simple but enjoyable 24/7. The tacos and quesadillas at the central garden are good. The golf cart service around the hotel is great! The hotel lacks of a good store with basic need articles, it is useless so be prepared to do a stop at the pharmacies that are on the way to the beach club to buy almost anything you may need such as toothpaste. The day you leave the staff personnel start knocking your door 5 minutes before 12 pm which is check out time.

Had a mixed stay at this hotel - while it’s very beautiful and lots to do for kids, some of the staff weren’t very helpful and we found we really had to advocate for anything we needed. Depending on which villa or tower you stay in, it can also be quite noisy at night until 9 or 10pm. Overall would recommend this for anyone with older kids who can manage the longer walks between the different amenities and if you don’t mind the some staff being kind of blasé about your experience.
