Pros
Let me start with the pros about this hotel. It is well-located near the marina and the rooms, while not spacious, are adequate, clean and the beds are comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets and they even had USB ports, which was a plus. The staff was very attentive. One good thing I can say about this hotel is that once they found out we weren’t very happy there, they tried their best to make us happy. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot they could do about the mediocre food (see cons below).
Cons
Unfortunately, there are a lot of cons with this hotel. We were sorry we chose this hotel almost the first moment we arrived. The hotel is dated, and it shows. Although the furniture in the rooms was nice and modern, the bathrooms came straight out of the 1960s. The faucets were hard to turn and the shower heads couldn’t be adjusted so the water came out it a hard jet. Water always looked dirty, which is a real turn-off, and a bit concerning. The caulking around the tub was very sloppily applied and it looked worn and dirty. It was not very appealing. The bathrooms in this hotel really, really need an upgrade. What surprised me was that there is no lighting in the hallways. I get up early when it is dark, and the halls are dark, and they’re dark when we get home late. But what really turned us off about this hotel was the food, and it’s pretty obvious that the hotel is aware of this but has chosen not to do anything about it. My wife and I are very fluent in Spani
