The room was lovely and well-maintained. The staff were all so friendly, attentive, and really helped us to have a great stay. We loved the activities, the clean beach, and the amenities. My mom and I both have dietary restrictions and were always able to have a good meal.

Overall the property grew on me the more days we were there. There is limited restaurant and food options so we went outside the resort a few times for lunch/dinner. Service around the pool area was lacking (maybe short staffed). The property is showing its age with cracked or damaged tiles etc around the pool area. The rooms were nicely set up however housekeeping wasn’t the greatest ( never replaced bathroom towels unless we called and asked them to but took the used towels… just didn’t replace them). Everyone was very friendly and we felt safe there with children. The resort is smaller which we really enjoyed for convenience with children. The area is by the marina which is a nice walk to check out with restaurants and shops. It’s a big far from the Mélançon.

Melia is small, which we enjoyed, we were with a big group and could always find each other. The entertainment staff do a great job, we participated in a variety of things. The drink selection is pretty poor; they have a menu of like 6 drinks, for wine you can choose red or white and that's it, for beer you can have light or dark. The food wasn't great, and there are some gaps of time where you can't get any food at all; definitely get into the a la cartes as much as you can, and plan to go eat outside of the resort! There are trees all around the pool which are full of birds and iguanas that will poop on you and all of your belongings! The beach is decent, a few vendors trying to sell things, but it isn't as bad as other places we've been!

The staff was really good. Alberto Sandoval was very attentive. We had some issues with our room and he was quick to make it satisfactory for us and continued to check in on us throughout our stay. Our cleaning staff was mostly attentive but there were times we weren’t given faceclothes, our towels were wet from where they were laying and they weren’t replaced one day .. minor details. All in all it was fine. The buffet food was average and the 2 restaurants were pretty good but not outstanding. It is a family resort and we can see families enjoy it. We may not return but it is not because of anything specific.. just didn’t fit our specific tastes. We did love the close proximity to the marina which is one or the reasons why we chose it

No hot tub or adult pool or adult side to pool. Lots of kids splashing and at the swim up bar. Checking in wasn’t great fit wrong wrists bands and missed out on a restaurant for 3 days because of it. We should of had easier time making dinner reservations but because of wrist band mess up it wasn’t easier especially since we had a big group

We had a wonderful time at the Melia all inclusive hotel. Comfortable room with a beautiful view of the garden beach, and city beyond, we enjoyed the attention to detail by the staff. The grounds are expansive and lush with greenery. Dining was delicious and varied., with a number of options available. The hotel itself is in a great location, just minutes from the airport and a very short walk to the Marina and numerous shopping and restaurants. Above all the staff was very friendly and generous, particularly in terms of dining and childcare. We have a 13-month old and the staff was very accommodating and flexible in terms of assisting and looking after our daughter. 10/10 and we hope to return for another tropical family getaway soon!

Just returned from an 8 day all inclusive family vacation with grandchildren aged 8,10 12 years. Perfect weather, beautiful resort property. Kids were very comfortable using all amenities by themselves. 3 meals in restaurants for adults were very good. Staff were excellent from check in till checkout 😎
