Experience out of tourist zone

We stayed for 3 month, at first we had a difficult time finding our way around on bus but Naomi helped us figure it out she also helped with where to shop and eat locally. If your older there is stairs to climb. We really enjoyed being away from all the hussel and bussel of the tourist zone. Patty and Don

Real neighbourhood experience

A self contained property, in a rural (ish) area, outside the main tourist areas! Walking distance to everything you need! Very clean, excellent hosts and perfect for to living a quiet life!

The property is in the outskirts of PV. The property itself is okay, except the pool is freezing cold and no one could swim in it. The apartments are serviceable, but because of the location the plumbing is old and there was always the smell of sewer in the bathrooms, and elsewhere if you didn't cover the drains! It is a half hour bus ride to the Marina and another half hour to the Malecon, which is really too far for my liking. The neighbourhood is typically mexican, stray dogs barking, roosters crowing all day long, cobble stone streets so vehicles are very noisy and lots of old cars, neighbours burning their garbage, etc. There is fresh fruit and vegetables, a fish market, and a butcher shop all within 2 or 3 blocks which we really enjoyed.

A wonderful typical Mexican barrio

Nahomi is wonderful. We felt at home immediately. We arrived and she walked us out to the street to show us the shops and where to get the buses or taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood and walked most mornings and evenings. If you love to eat fresh fruits and vegetables you are in luck! The property is kept spotless. We enjoyed the outdoor patio - a great place to relax, read, exercise, visit. It is shaded so we didn't have to worry about being in the sun if we didn't want to. The bedroom has enough storage for clothing and other items . The kitchen is supplied with a good stove, microwave and refrigerator.
