The room was clean but the hallway noise and construction noise was beyond terrible and the woman checking us in appeared annoyed with pretty much every guest. Not helpful. Said there was no airport shuttle even though it is clearly marked on hotels.com then absolutely uncaring that we were having difficulty finding a cab for so early the next morning. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Our stay was well above expectations. The staff was so friendly every time we interacted. There was construction going on which caused noise during the day. Ear plugs were available at the front if needed, but nights were generally pretty quiet. Would stay again and recommend!

Great location next to the Melacon. One block from the waterfront. Outdoor common areas were well maintained. The pool is small, but was never crowded. Plenty of furniture and pool towel service was nice. Small restaurant for breakfast and lunch although we did not use it. The room was huge although a little strange as it had no window. Given the layout of the hallways I would assume it’s not the only one like that. It wasn’t a big deal to us but might be to others. Enrique at the front was very helpful and friendly.

The room was not described properly online, and did not fit our needs at all! the staff could not have cared less. It was a 'call expedia if you're not happy' brush off. Insulting and rude. Like we just wanted a room that would have worked for my family. I currently have a very bad flare up of arthritis and the stairs in the room to get to bed were incredibly steep and painful in my current state. We thought we were getting three beds, and only got two. Boy and girl teenagers, so didnt work for us. It was a heck of a trek to get our luggage to the room, which really sucked in mid day heat. So we thought, 'lets get to the pool!' And arrived there to find it rather full of people and with luke warm water. Gross is an understatement. Then they would've even give us a pool towel for some reason, which was weird to say the least. Like why would you want a family of soaking wet people walking through your tiled floor hotel? The room was not good, but it was clean. However, we found a cockroach in the morning that was GIANT . Eeek! The beds are hard. The area is loud with an open air gym right behind the hotel pumping tunes from early am till late in the night. The location is great for access to malecon. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Starbucks right below if thats your thing. I would not recommend this hotel. It is insanely overpriced for what you get, and the pool is more like a warm big bath tub and well...cockroaches.

Perfect location at the north end of the malecon. Nice staff (hosts, cleaning, maintenance). I was in what appeared to be an older part of the building so it was aged. The room could use brighter lighting, hotter shower, decorations. The room was a dingy white with no pictures/art on the walls. It was also very noisy throughout the night (people and traffic). That said, I would stay here again because of the staff and location.

I rarely post reviews on Expedia, but I feel strongly that this one needs to be shared so future guests are fully informed. This is an honest and comprehensive review, and I have also attached a video so you can see the conditions for yourself. If you are looking for a tranquil and relaxing place to stay, this is not it. The noise level is extreme. You can hear constant honking, traffic, and street noise throughout the night. It is loud enough that sleeping is very difficult. On top of that, the blinds do not properly block sunlight, so the room becomes very bright early in the morning, making rest even more challenging. The worst part of the stay was the bathroom. The toilet was not functioning properly, and the shower sprayed water everywhere, making it impossible to take a comfortable shower without flooding the area. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable. The mattress felt very hard and uneven, almost like sleeping on stacked concrete blocks rather than a proper hotel bed. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, and the overall environment felt unsafe and unwelcoming. I tried to request a room change, but my concerns were dismissed, and I was simply told, “This is the room you booked,” without any effort to resolve the issues. For the price, this stay was absolutely not worth it. The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. Please think carefully before booking this hotel.
