Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing and did not match the way the property was advertised.The listing described the property as tranquil, but throughout our stay there was ongoing construction and frequent noise, including weekday and weekend activity. The constant noise caused significant stress and headaches, and there was no consistent quiet period—even on weekends.The unpredictability added to the frustration. On some mornings we were woken by messages asking if construction could begin, and when returning to the apartment in the late afternoon, construction was often already in progress. We repeatedly had to contact the host to request that the noise stop.Cleanliness was also an issue. The apartment was dusty upon arrival and had not been properly cleaned. Cleaning supplies and basic household items also had to be requested.Several advertised amenities were not functional:* The washing machine leaked* A dryer was advertised but not available in the unit* The balcony was consistently dirty due to construction debrisOn February 2nd, we woke to maggots emerging from gaps beneath the floor tiles. The issue did not originate from trash or food waste, and we documented it with video evidence. After this, the situation became untenable.We cancelled the remainder of our stay, opened a case with Vrbo, and relocated. This property did not provide the peaceful experience that was represented. We are sharing this review so guests can make an informed decision.
