The staff and food was fantastic! I was disappointed that the all inclusive was cutoff the second after 11:00 after check out. My flight was many hours later so it would have been nice to have lunch included especially as I arrived late in the day and didn’t have lunch the day of arrival. The amount of beach vendors made a day at the beach annoying after repeatedly being approached to buy massages, jewelry, carvings etc.

This resort has everything you need. Great location, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, beautiful views of the bay for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Some great servers we remember is Johnathan in lobby bar at night. Miguel is the best pool server ever! High energy and always gets you what you want or need before you can think of asking! Aldo at the Italian restaurant was great too!

We just returned from our 9 day stay and we absolutely loved it! The report was quiet but had enough for all of us to keep occupied. The pool was fabulous and the beach was something out of a dream. The service was top notch and the dinner restaurants were comparable to 5 star fine dining. The cherry on top however was the spa - at first the prices seemed a bit steep but I assure you even for a budget traveller like me, it was worth. Every. Penny. We can’t wait to return!! Thank you Villa del Palmar Flamingos. We are leaving with lifetime memories.

Overall a fantastic experience! The tipping/signing of checks was very confusing at the beginning and I suggest that be explained to guests clearly at check in. We’ve been to other all inclusive and you never sign anything. It’s way too much paper with all the receipts and then sometimes no receipts. The property itself is beautiful, the staff are friendly and fun. Loved water aerobics with Edgar! Japanese restaurant was by far our favorite.
