OK for a quick stay but rough around the edges

For a simple one night stay it was fine -- the lady at the front counter was nice, the bed was comfortable, and parking was convenient. But, some negative: 1. sound-proofing was bad even by hotel standards, 2. there were no towels in my room when I checked in. Had to notify the front desk. 3. the only hotel I've ever seen without a power outlet near the bed. Even with a 10 ft charging cable I wasn't able to charge my phone overnight while having it within reach.

Conveniently located to access most attractions around Puli and also Sun Moon Lake. Rented a motorcycle in front of KFC and Bus station. Great staff. Was able to leave luggage due to early arrival and also after check out. There's also a Family Mart across the street which helps a lot.

I simply love the staff service and assistance in the hotel. Because when I check in is during their renovation works period, I can't comment much on the reception environment. However, it did not disturb our sleep or rest. Room is clean, comfy and manage to get good rest. Just for breakfast area is another place next to the building, quite run down though food is still ok. Hope to get a menu indicate what can be chosen/amt limited per pax so customers can order which will reduce food waste. Can be quite warm inside.
