We spent a relaxing week at El Beso. We loved the airy feeling of the lobby and restaurants. We spent most of our time in the El Beso side. We were greeted with friendly service each morning from Isaac at Pez Dama. We enjoyed meals at the Steak House, Blue Moon and Margarita and had great service from Pablo, Pedro and Duriel. We also had lots of choices at the buffet. The lobby bar was our favourite place for before/after dinner drinks and people watching. As gold status Expedia members we were able to receive a room upgrade after several requests (both before and during the first few days of our trip.) The slow communication was a frustration for us. While our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, we were slightly disappointed by some attention to detail in the finishing - poor paintwork/grouting etc. our upgraded room was a rooftop suite and we would have appreciated access to some shade such as an umbrella. Overall, we had a great week, and would return again.

Honest Review from Seasoned Travelers: We were a group of 15, and booking through Expedia turned out to be the best decision we made. Not only did we secure the flights and private transport we wanted (Transekur), but we also had the incredible Jose, our Expedia butler, who made our trip effortless and stress-free. Check-In: Fast & Efficient: This was hands down one of the fastest check-ins we've experienced—just 2-3 minutes! Right after, we met Jose, our Expedia butler, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. We asked if he could secure a restaurant reservation for our entire group that first night, and he made it happen without hesitation. He also ensured our rooms were close together and even stocked us up with extra beer and wine. Dining & Restaurants We initially worried about reservations for such a large group, but thanks to Jose, we never had to wait. He pre-booked tables for us at our preferred times and restaurants. One unexpected perk of booking with Expedia was the Wednesday night Surf & Turf event—a delicious steak-and-shrimp dinner with live music at the beach restaurant, perfectly timed before the beach show. Rooms & Pools: Swim-Up Bliss - Opting for the swim-up rooms was easily the second-best decision of our trip. With Jose’s help, we secured three side-by-side rooms, creating our own private hangout spot. Overall Experience: A Stress-Free, VIP Stay with Jose’s exceptional service by booking through Expedia

Loved my room on the El Beso side. It was very damp, but clothes dryed out on the balcony fairly easily. Price was fair. Grounds staff work hard and front desk staff are great. We had some pretty consistently poor service at the Daisy Snack Bar and Buffet. As in, 40 mins before we could get water. The mexican and japanese restaurants were yummy and our group of kids 3-17 loved the teppanyaki show. The buffet was the worst imo. It was repetitive and very difficult to navigate for anyone with allergies. It could be significantly improved. Lots of activities all day and pool side staff do their best to keep their energy up. Group members had some issues with rooms on the El Faro side, but no complaints on El Beso. I'd certainly consider going again, but I would plan accordingly for meals, breakfast in particular.

This was our second time at this resort. My wife and I really enjoyed how relaxed we felt as soon as we arrived, The staff made everything so easy. The hardest decision you have to make is witch one of the amazing restaurants too eat in next. You can be entertained by the staff or just relax and enjoy the ocean or pool. Well worth the money.

Not much good to say about this property, place is beautiful, however service is horrible. Do not go to the presentation which concierge offers. Ron lied to us offered us 30mints of Spa however we only got 20mints. Do not trust him with anything. The restaurants food quality was horrible, buffet same everyday not much variety. Need to give props where due Pizza at buffet was the best!!!!
