Si bien en general el hotel es moderno, falta verde y vegetación en la piscina y edificios, la calidad y variedad de los buffet ha bajado mucho y la atención en sillas de playa y piscina casi inexistentes. Cada año vemos en Melia que va desmejorando variedad. Los departamentos muy ruidosis, se siente todo de pisos superiores y vecinos. Sigue siendo buen hotel pero esos detalles le quitan la excelencia que los caracterizaba, sin mencionar que las playas llenas de sargazo y mal olientes.( para todos los hoteles Punta Cana)

The sheets of the bed were stained, there was hair in the sink area, the room was dirty. The staff were TOO friendly, friendliness that makes you uncomfortable. The first day we were at the room sleeping and the concierge called 3 times every 5 minutes! if we do not answer you do not need to keep calling! The hotel was peaceful and the pool was nice.

What a terrible experience we had at this all inclusive resort. We were a big group and all are vegetarians and the food options at the restaurants are so limited that we had to eat the same thing almost everyday. The restaurants were hard to book because they couldn’t accommodate a big group like ours. We were lucky to even get a reservation to the restaurants. You have to book way ahead in advance or end up eating at the buffet hall which had very limited options. Avoid this resort at all costs.

This was one of the most beautiful, clean and friendly resort I’ve been to in Punta Cana. Some restaurants had good food such as the breakfast buffet and the hibachi. Other restaurants were ok. Overall 7/10 for food. Drinks 9/10. Pool 8/10. Water park was amazing 10/10. Beach was ok. I wish they had more activities and events because we felt like other resorts in Punta Cana offered more.

I had to called customer service more than 5 times because there was a lot of things of the room that doesn’t work ,the employees are very friendly generally,but this doesn’t take away from the fact that the pool was dirty with mold,We’ll never come back again to this hotel

In the buffet, Vegetarian items should be kept on the back side of counter. If non-veg items are kept on back side then the spill from the serving spoon contaminates the veg items in front. Keep a check on flies in the buffet area. Dishes placement at times were not matching with the name displayed. Need to have more entertainment options in the evening.

Paradise Found – Luxury, Fun, and Family Memories for a Lifetime! OMG—walking onto this property felt like stepping into paradise! Pure luxury and upscale vibes from the moment we arrived. Staff was warm, friendly, and delivered high-end service every single day of our 7-day stay. Rooms were a perfect 10—upscale, spotless, and spacious. Amenities were incredible: private pools, a spectacular Aqua Zone kids’ water park, daily activities for all ages, and a safe, vibrant atmosphere with plenty of space so it never felt crowded. The private beach was stunning, with shaded chairs, food/drink service, and a gorgeous shoreline for long walks. Most days we went from the Aqua Zone kids’ water park to the private beach, then the private pool, and finished in the hot tub at night. Dining service was top-notch and restaurant décor beautiful—food could be better, but the buffet was pretty good. Once on property, you spend nothing except tips. I spent about $300–$400, so bring singles (I only had $10s and $20s). The hotel or staff never pressures you to tip, but the staff works so hard but its your choice. We’re already planning to return in December with the whole family—truly a lifetime memory!

Let’s start off by saying this was my second time staying at this hotel. I returned because my first experience was lovely. This time around was not, to start when checking in i was charged for my daughter even though i had already paid. I was not allowed to check in and was told i had to take it up with Expedia. Still waiting on the refund btw. The package i got included a concerige service, the guy was an absolute mess and unorganized. Never had our dinner reservations done. On a positive note the food is excellent at this resort and that stayed pretty consistent. I noticed it wasn’t as high end as it was the year prior. I was told it was under new ownership and they were cutting cost. You could tell. Overall i will not be returning to this hotel.

The hotel facilities were very nice and they have many options for food. The water splash park for the little kids was nice too. I also appreciated that not only their restaurants menu would display allergy disclaimers but the staff would ask before they seat you if there are any allergy they should be aware off since I have a gluten allergy. They also have different activities to do at night and that was a plus. The drawbacks I would say was the drinks and the service around the pool area and inside the buffet. But if you sat on the outside area of the buffet the service there was fantastic.

Overall a great experience. Food was great. The kids loved the Waterpark. Different activities every night. Really clean rooms. House keeping in the morning around 11 and at night around 6pm. Friendly people. Would definitely go back there.

I was given a room upgrade, but basically I had to request my rights as a VIP member of the reservation. I got the upgrade, but it was a bit stressful. I received all the amenities at the end, but, for example, I needed to request a bottle of sparkling wine and that was it. Last time, I was greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit, nuts, etc. The VIP reception was at the regular reception, and the time before that, it was at the private reception. So, I felt like booking VIPs on Expedia were losing interest or exclusivity. This trip, I was able to enjoy three nights at specialty restaurants, which I barely managed to enjoy the last time, just one. I want to thank concierge George for helping me with that reservation, and the young woman who works at the front desk, who understood my situation from the previous trip and was able to find me two more reservations. The hotel is still in magnificent condition, but I think if they stop paying attention to the small details, it won't be the same over time.
