The $200 credit that was on paperwork from Expedia itinerary was presented at resort as coupons that had to be broken up and used only for certain things. Not a true resort credit. So this language was misleading and disappointing.

Just finished an incredible stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana, and wow… this place does not miss. We had Preferred Club with an ocean-view room, and waking up each morning felt like Mother Nature personally upgraded us. The staff make this resort unbeatable. Luis the sommelier is a wine genius — he could pair a bottle with your mood. Ray the butler handled everything so smoothly I started wondering if he had superpowers. Santa at Tierra is pure sunshine and delivers top-tier service. And Victor on the beach? The man is a legend. I’d think about a drink and it magically appeared. The food was phenomenal. The shrimp tacos with pickled onions? Life-changing. The steak with chimichurri? Melt-in-your-soul good. The fried rice dish? A mountain of flavour that kept me going long after I was full. From Tierra to Oceana to the breakfast menu — every plate looked like a magazine shot and tasted even better. Décor and atmosphere? Stunning. Everything felt modern, clean, and beautifully designed. Rooms and service? Impeccable. Comfortable beds, spotless spaces, and service that actually anticipates what you need. Overall, Secrets Tides didn’t just meet expectations — it blew past them. If you’re thinking of booking, stop thinking and go. This resort is pure vacation perfection.

We had the best vacation at this all-inclusive resort! Everything from the moment we arrived was seamless. The property is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well-maintained, with plenty of activities, stunning views, and so many places to relax. What truly made the trip unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests. From the front desk team who greeted us with smiles, to the servers who remembered our drink orders, to the housekeeping team who kept our room immaculate — they made us feel taken care of the entire stay. It never felt like “just customer service”; it felt like hospitality. The food and drinks were good. We only had one bad meal. Food was your average all inclusive, but overall was good. The pool and beach service was quick and friendly, and there was always someone around to make sure we had everything we needed. The room as well as the entire resort is spotless. One of the cleanest resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly. The only thing this resort needs to work on is entertainment. The swim up bar pool didn’t even have any music playing and we were not allowed to play our own music.

This hotel has everything you need to relax and loosen up. I had heard some hotels customer service was deteriorating but im glad I came to one that did not have that problem at all. Customer service was amazing, food was the best Ive had in any hotel in many years, cleanliness and room service were great as well. Only thing that I would say it needs is a dance club and they are already building one. Cant wait to come back after its built.

The Resort itself.... Beautiful... Although its a little ways from the airport (45min) and city. not a problem. Now the only reason I Didn't give 5 stars was because I informed the resort Months in advanced that I was celebrating my 50th and had a rather large group coming 27 to be exact. I had 2 Request: 1. All of our Swim outs be close, and the other rooms at least on the same side. Not fully honored... They had us all over the place 2. My birthday dinner I requested Oceana Restaurant, EVEN confirmed w/ concierge the day of. NO ONE told me it was closed until a few hours prior. So They referred me to Meraki which would've been ok BUT they wanted us to sit outside (HOT & HUMID) w/ no actual Hibachi show.... After almost an hour of over 25 of us standing around in All Black & manager's trying to Figure out what to do w/ us we said F it and made the best of it! They also said IF we wanted our tables together we had to do Family style (with pre fixed items) I'm gonna ASSume since its a new resort they just were not prepared to handle such a large group EVEN w/ ADVANCED notice... Outside of that Everyone at the hotel was very Friendly & helpful! we def Enjoyed Felix every A.M. at breakfast & Mike (Magic Mike at Night! Lol) Myra was also a WHOLE A$$ Vibe. The female Hostesses can be a little friendlier. Food was hit or miss but we also enjoyed room service!
