Resort was nice and bartenders were super friendly. However, lots of hidden fees. They don’t even pick up the phone to request a receipt, they charged me for several things and never even provided me with a receipt of what I paid for? Terrible customer service when it comes to requesting information regarding payments, won’t be returning due to this which is unfortunate.

The room and the property was beautiful. There were roaches, not outside roaches, at the buffet. I had a roach in my food. The staff didn’t show any compassion. I did not eat the 3 days I was there.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I chose to return because my first experience was very good, but unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. To be fair, the food quality and the hotel environment are good. However, what I experienced at the buffet restaurant was completely unacceptable. A buffet staff member asked me where I was from. I clearly answered China. At first, I thought he might not have heard me or had difficulty with English. However, he repeatedly asked if I was from the United States, Canada, or Korea, and after I clearly stated China again, he pretended not to know what China was. He then laughed with other staff members and used the racial slur, which is deeply offensive and discriminatory. I immediately requested to speak to a supervisor. The restaurant manager told me that staff are usually instructed not to chat with guests and only ask what they want to eat. That response completely missed the point. The issue was not conversation — it was racial discrimination and disrespect toward a guest. What was even more disappointing is that the manager did not bring the employee to apologize in person. According to the manager, the employee’s name is Pedro. This raised serious concerns about the hotel’s management and how discrimination is handled. In addition, hotel security and management is insufficient. There were customers playing loud music late at almost every night, making it very difficult to sleep.

Staff very unfriendly. Employees seemed to not want to be there. House keeping was divided, multiple people different things. Room was always swept, bathroom took 3 days to clean. Ran out of TP. Out of 7 days refrigerator was attended 3 times. Even after calling front desk 4 times. Bathroom sink was dusts 6 /7 days. Bathroom mirrors had smears in same place for 3 days. In the hallway 2 different times glasses were broken & pieces of glass lay in hallwalls for 2-3 days. Room door always had to push to make sure shut due to swelling. Outside by the walk way 3 beer Cans & 2 water bottles laid in the grass for 3 days. Every morning pool sides were rinsed down. The pools were the best part. The beach, it was quit a walk to water & sand was very course not cleaned or maintained. Multiple cups left blow around from previous days. Waiters/ waitresses were almost nonexistent. We had a swim up room, listening to dominican music from bar in front of us. We saw 2 staff members get into altercation. Chairs were being swung at each other. The food….. we were on Adult only side with 5 restaurants. We tried 4 out of 5. All restaurants had to make reservations except buffet. Buffet was not very appetizing. There was food from night before that was put out for breakfast. Employees, not one smile. Food was either cold or hard. Day 3 & 4 we both had stomach problems. Talked to other couples had same issues. Couple with us had extreme stomach pains for 3 days after being home.

Serenade All Suites Adults Only exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort offers two distinct pools: one quieter and less crowded, perfect for relaxing, and another more lively pool with a swim-up bar for a fun atmosphere. The food truly surpassed expectations. There was an excellent variety, and the meals were surprisingly light and easy to digest. Having multiple restaurants instead of relying only on a buffet was a great change, and the quality of the steaks was unbelievable. The room air conditioning was excellent, completely quiet, and allowed full control over both temperature and humidity, which made the stay extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and, more importantly, highly professional. Thank you for a great experience. We would absolutely recommend this resort.
