WORSE HOTEL STAY EVER!!

The staff are unfriendly, unwelcoming, and a little rude. When I first checked in, the male receptionist at the front didn't acknowledge me at first, even though we made eye contact as I walked in. He just stood there and didn't say anything, which was very odd. The breakfast was awful. The food was either stale or looked old. The a la carte menu was disappointing. The servers were rude. The sliding door to the "balcony" was broken so the door didn't lock. Since I was on the first floor this was definitely a safety concern. The view from the room was a concrete wall with barbed wire, which was an unappealing sight. On the day I decided to leave early, a man casually walked past my balcony area. I went to the receptionist to check out early and cancel my reservation. I only stayed 2 nights. I had a separate reservation for 3 additional nights that I wanted to cancel. I was told that I would have to contact Expedia to get my refund. I contacted a representative from Hotels.com and I was informed that the hotel management would not process my refund due to their "policy!" On the day that I left the hotel, I ordered an Uber to take me to a different hotel. The security would not let me Uber ride onto the premises to pick me up so I had to walk down to the street to get in my Uber which was ridiculous. My Uber driver informed me that the security guards there are awful and guests complain about whalaurban all of the time and say it is the worst. Spend your money elsewhere!

It is a very good property for the money. Would highly recommend for a person on a tight budget. I stayed here for 2 nights as I had planned for a soana island tour. I did not want to waste my entire day on the tour staying at an all inclusive resort.

Doña Rosa definitely took good care of us, upgraded us to a suite and what a beautiful stay! Pool was awesome and perfect temperature, food was awsome, we had a charbroiled burger was delicious, some coco flan and coffe also, pina colada was on point! Will definitely come back here, close to everything, free shuttle to beach and so much more!

This is more of a Motel chain. Its run down and next to hotel de is a adults intertaiment run down area.. I did not like it..

It is a nice place to stay small property but nice and clean but the breakfast has poor quality. They charge 10.00 USD per person for breast which they say it is a buffet but the food was horrible taste, the mangu which it is the traditional dish horrible taste hot dog poor quality everything was horrible. Eating outside the restaurant is worth. My husband and I went to eat outside and was excellent and same price as the hotel. Except one day we decided to give a try to Whala. Dont eat in Whala food is poor quality horrible taste.
